my name came about by a freak accident. back in '83 during the reforger exercise, i went to fire my M-16, and the blank round exploded in the chamber. the concussion from that broke the blood vessels in my right eye. the next morning at breakfast, the guy sitting across from me called me redeye. the name stuck. I now spell it redaye because there are alot of others out there who also go by that name.

Like Ranger74, I also wanted Treadhead, but it was taken. Instead I modified it just enough and still encompass my interests: Tanks and Figures (both Diorama and the 'stand alone' display types). Hence "Tread and Figure Head" or Trdnfigrhead.

But for a funny story, I was once well known as "Crack". Many years ago, while off for summer training, I was issued with some PT gear that featured a rather tighter than comfortable pair of shorts (I've always been a rather big boy). When I first tried them on, then went to tie my shoes the legend was born!! #:-) #:-) #:-)

I was always fond of reading Tom Clancy's novel, almost never missed it. One novel was entitled Cardinal of the Kremlin. That's where I got my screen name.

It 's short for "Blitzkrieg." My friends say I always suprised them or attack them with "crazy antics" but really nothing offensiveor sinister.. hehehe

In High School I was a "hacker" and also taking chemistry at the time. I needed a threatening handle so I looked to the periodic table... arsenic, but I slurred it and turned it into Arznek ... blah thats it

Mine’s pretty straightforward actually:

One of the first ‘first person shooters’ I played asked for a ‘callsign’ being stumped at the time I threw something at my wife to get her attention. Her prompt snapped reply was “Stop acting like such a SAVAGE”.

So blame her

Mine is about as basic as it gets... I am a Sergeant First Class in the Army National Guard and no, I'm not a "weekend warrior", I am a full time guy. I currently serve as the Maintenance Specialist for the state of Indiana.

well, that's my other hobby. I shoot target crossbow in competition. One of the most difficult hand weapons to shoot accurately (I know, I have had a chance to fire a lot of different stuff).

A true basic weapon, not all the fancy stuff like laser sights, stabilisors, ....

Hmmmmm How did I come by my callsign? It all started back in the early 80's when Cb radio took off in the UK,I was looking for a handle and as I am a fan of both Deep Purple and Michael Moorcock I chose Stormbringer and I've been using it ever since.

Well... see, I never like registering my real name on website registration forms, so I got into the habit of sticking "blank" wherever those things asked for my name. When I signed up for Armorama.... well... um... yeah... #:-)

Mine handle's a lame pun. I'm a lawyer at a big corporate law firm and generally work pretty hard (I'm sure there are plenty here who bust it harder than me, though). Between my job and my non-modeling interests, I can at best consider myself a part-time modeler.

The second, punny meaning is as follows: What's bulding a model? Putting together parts. So modeling time is part time! Lame as all get out, huh. #:-)

Actually, I can't even really take credit for that joke. A non-autmotively inclined female friend of mine once had an SUV that was equipped with part-time four wheel drive. When conditions warranted, the computer in the car automatically kicked in the 4WD and lit the idiot light on the dash that said "PART TIME." The first time she ever noticed the light, she took it in to the dealership for repairs, saying "It says it needs a part, but I have no idea which one."

Mine is from that I am an excellent sniper in video games (my old online game name was Sir Snipealot). In newer ones like Battlefield 1942, Rainbow Six 3, my favorite strategy when online is stalking someone for really long then shooting him in the back or knifing him when he stops, a lone wolf stalking my prey. Sniperwolf sounds better than sniper lone wolf or lone wolf sniper, so I use that

DD-38 (Paulding class), DD-393 (Bagley class), and DD-799 (Fletcher class) were all named after Midshipman James Jarvis, lost on USS Constellation in the Quasi-War with France in 1805. One of my father's cousins has established a family link to that branch of the family. I think it's tenuous at best, but its a good family story. I picked DD-393 because it was lost with all hands off Guadalcanal on August 9, 1942.
