As it stands right now I doubt that anyone can do a worse job of it...
Jessie, I'm feeling your pain; over on the Matchbox armour campaign, my Priest masking job went a bit wrong last night, but even worse, I broke a piece off, and that's under filler and three paint layers, two of which were mixes... so it could be worse! Ugh.

That's a really complicated little model Erhan! It's looking really good

Very nice Erhan, I built 4 of those for a LCT project a few years ago, (4 Churchills were cheaper than the alternative load of 7 Shermans, but even so they cost more than the LCT). I know that with the exception of the tracks it isn't a bad kit, the ends of the tracks on the Churchill can at least be hidden in the mudguards. I like your weathering, understated but effective, mine weren't weathered and just looked bland.

Hi folks,
after some difficulties (only the second time I joined a forum) I hope I'll succeed now in presenting a model to this campaign.
I'm building a Martin B-26 Marauder. The kit was first issued in 1973, I bought mine in the 1980s somewhere in the UK when I was there on holiday. It spent a long quiet time in storage but at last I took it when I read about your Airfix campaign.
The kit has the usual problems with fitting but not too much. Still having fun putting it together. Here is (should be) my first picture during construction:

Well, now nearly complete and waiting for decals. I won't use the old Airfix ones, because I wanted some nice nose art picture. So I got a set from Sprue Bros. and I'm looking forward to put them on.

That's one that I've never done. It appears as though Airfix offered the option for an open bomb bay.

The B-26 had lots of working features. I built the Matchbox one instead.
You may be right, I may be crazy.

Hi Jessica!

Here is my final entry, the Yeomen has a mold date of 1959.
My brother, dad and I built these a individual models, I picked these up as "London Icons"issue.
I have spent a lot more time painting these Icons than I remember doing as a kid!Thank's Dad for all the work you did!
I will be on the look out for more kits in this line.
Thank you Jessie!

The trumpeter looks a little surprised and his lips are bloody. I guess that's what happens if you try and play a bugle which doesn't have a mouthpiece.

The three of them had a party last night, beer and mj all night! kept calling me for more munchies.
I had to take the mouth piece away as he was making noise at
1 am.

I have to confess to neglecting this build over the last few months, but the Orion's back on the work top.
Wings are together. I painted the insides mat white to prevent any bare plastic being seen when complete. I think the ram-jet engines are supposed to be here given the large outlets at the rear and intakes in the leading edge. I would have preferred to paint the whole area black, including the upper surfaces of the rear wing, but the studio builders chose an allover white scheme. Maybe on another one...
I stuck in some epoxy putty on the inside of the fuselage behind the thrusters. As I'm drilling them out I didn't want to be able to see straight into the model through them.
First lot of thrusters opened up.
And finally some reinforcement to the tube that the model will be mounted on.
Still watching everyone's with interest.

Aloha! Finally some colour hits the 737!
That's about half the decals. I'll wait until the setting solution has had a chance to work on these before doing the other side. The sheet I'm using was ancient, so not being one to take a chance on it shattering into tiny bits, I coated it with Microscale liquid decal film. This causes the decals to want to curl off the model so I have to keep flooding on the Solvaset.

Wow! That's just screaming 70's!
So microscales liquid decal film causes them to curl? That could explain some issues I had recently.
