Hermon, the brass is on it's way. Just ignore the wires hanging out of the Mopar symbol that may or may not be ticking.....

Twin .50's and all the trimmings my load of weapons might out weigh the vehicle by the time I'm done.
Dude, that's the first time I've felt brotherly love for a person and hated them 8 seconds later in the same post.
Funny, that's the same thing my Wife said to me minus the "Brotherly" part, thankfully. I met her on E-Harmony 6 years ago.

Damian, Pragmatically, how are you going to win a Demo Derby in any of the "fine" Mopoo products when they're breaking down before you even start?!
Since they're Government owned now I expect the quality to decline even further than its current abysmal level.
Hey, those guys with the black suits are here too...

Here is what I originally planned on using for this campaign.

But then I found this at a thrift store on Friday.

So now I will have to figure out what I want to do. It is a good thing I have a year to get this done. I still like the idea of a police car being all decked out with all kinds of cool stuff. I am sure I will make a final decision soon.

And now it begins.

Actually I'll be starting in a few days. I'm trying to finish up a couple of projects that have been on the shelf for about a decade. If I put them on hold it may be another decade before I knuckle down and work on them again.

Good luck gentlemen.

HARV, that is some luck you have there or is it just plain cheating when you keep the location of your hobby supplier secret . I love the Hummer you found.

I'm already campaigned out. Who cares, its a lot of fun and its keeping me out of trouble.

Heres the proof and the kit material:

My plan is to scratch a new deck for the M-113 and mount the awesome firepower of the quad 50's onto it. Plus the extra 50mm in a new cupola. Hoping that the deck attempt and the kit additions are enough to confirm a scratch-build. I've never scratch built anything significant, so this Zombie masher will be a total learning experience.

This is where I'm starting. I'm going to treat this quad 50cal mounted on the pedestal as a kit unto its self. There's certainly enough parts.

I've got all the rest of today to play. Guy

Just luck I guess. That and a wife who keeps her eyes open at garage sales to find me good stuff.

I bought the police car from Squadron Mail Order, all of the other junk parts my wife found at a garage sale for 25 cents and I just did find the Hummer. The Hummer doesn't have any axles but I am sure I can make some. It was also missing the decals and the instruction sheet. I printed the instructions off of the Revell web site and I really don't care about the decals. I will just need to do some hand painted skull and crossbones and possibly some zombie kill symbols.

So definitely don't over look thrift stores as they do get some good stuff in once in awhile.

Now I just need to figure out what exactly I want to build. Maybe I will just kit bash all of it together.

Thanks and also thank you for rating my scratchbuild jeep and trailer project a 10. That was a nice little ego boost!!

Later,

Harv
