Hi all!

I think I must restart the server... should take a couple of minutes...

Andy, did you try to launch from the GS application? Il should be in the "ubi.com" then "core" folders on your computer if you downloaded the 1.22 version...

Hope it helps...

Thanks for the game today guys. I left kinda early because my eyes are burning and I have this urge to paint something today. That doesn't happen to often.

How was the Pizza Jean Luc? Ya got me thinking about food when you said you had to make the pizza. mmm pizza! My favorite sin.

Hi all!

Eetu, strange you didn't saw the server.. Mal also didn't saw the server the first time I started it Strange... I hope it was only a bad luck day for us.
Anyway, I had fun sneaking over enemy territory with my Stuka... seems I found a way to fly without being noticed... no I won't tell you my secret Mal and Dumbdog but it wasn't cheating or some secret German WW2 stealth device! :-)

Next week I'll start a new thread... this one is getting too long (don't worry Staff Jim )...

Hi there

Sorry - I was working today, so I couldn't fly around ignoring everyone in my classic Rowan "romantic" style! :-) :-)

i think I should go for the Byronic stance... "Fight you, old boy? Whatever for?!!" :-)

Mal's trouble seeing the game sounds just like what I've had in previous weeks - plenty of games to join... but no Armorama!

Hopefully catch you all soon - and maybe, one day, I'll shoot at someone - No, dash it! That'd be DAMNED unsporting! What!

I see you hosting the game, Mal, but I can't get in. Same thing with me hosting, other people can't join in.

Jean-Luc, I remember you downloading some kind of a patch before you started hosting. What was it exactly? A dedicated server patch? I don't recall it being necessary, though.

Hi all!

Server is running... sorry I was late because I had to put the final touches on my "Amphibs" Campaign diorama...

I hope everyone will be able to see the server without problem today. Eetu, yes I downloaded the dedicated server patch but never installed it. I think it is of use only if you wan't to play without the ubi Game Server Application... but I can be wrong!? I'm really not a PC specialist (I use my Mac 99% of the time) but I didn't made something special... so I don't know why it is working with me. I never installed anti-virus or firewall programs as my PC wasn't meant to go online. Maybe that's why I can make the server... my PC is very open minded! :-) If you want some information about my internet and firewall settings just ask... but you will have to tell me precisely where I would have to search on my computer!
Anyway, I hope a few of you can make it to the Russian sky today! I'll check back here in half an hour again...

Hi Jean-Luc

Sorry - I was working today; weekends are an endangered species for me at the moment.

I'm glad to know you've got the game up and running again though - I'll try to look in again soon (probably in the New Year).

All the best

Hi Rowan!

No problem, you don't have to be sorry...

I won't be able to play next friday. Saturday should be working. I think the period may not be very appropriate for gaming as everyone seems to be busy (work or christmas). Maybe we should make a "pause" and start from scratch next year... we would also have to contact those members who joined at the beginning but seemed to have lost interest in the past few weeks.
If anyone has an idea to make the Armorama Circus fly again

I can try hosting this time. Btw, I checked the settings of my firewall. il2.exe and il2fb.exe had access allowed for both internet and trusted, but block in "server"... I changed them to allowed, let's see if hosting works now.

Okay, I'm starting the server now.

Edit: Server is running now.
2nd edit: can you get in? No-one has entered yet.
3rd edit: I can see you in the lobby Mal, are you having trouble entering the server?
4th & final edit: closed the server. There's still something wrong, seems like nobody can get in.

Yeah, something's still wrong. I could see Mal in the lobby but he failed to show up in the game.

What firewall are you using? I have zone alarm and viewing & changing it's settings is easy. First double-click on the thumbnail on the bar on the lower-right corner on the desktop. The program pops up, with the page "overview". Click at "program control" on the left. Now you get a list of all programs installed, and their settings. Here you can allow or deny certain programs from accessing the internet or working as a server.

Hi Jean-Luc

I might be able to look in - but it depends on how well I'm doing witht the pile of reviews I've got backed-up! But, if I've peaked and need a break - or have made such good progress that I deserve one (unlikely!)...

All the best

This time it's not my fault! You have nothing from me in the pile! :-) Good luck and we hope to see you... even for a few minutes! And I promise to tell you where I am so you can shoot at my Stuka!

Hi Jean-Luc

No... with the Support Centre down, I've got the chance to catch up with my own reviews. I need go shopping and then get some photos done while the sun's out, so I'll try to look in on the game later.

All the best
