Danial, guess what u have to do now is watch some Vietnam War movies like Hamburger Hill, Full Metal Jacket or Platoon to get some inspiration. If u ask me, the most logical setting is to have lots of foliage. U can do a village setting with huts where the GIs are ambushed by VCs. Good if u can find some water buffalos and chickens running ard too.

Hi guys
Finally some progress with my Stug IV, base coat is on and tomorrow i'll shoot on the camouflage. Progress is really slooow. I'm thinking of making a base for it, hmmm...
I'm also working on DML's Halftrack, 1/35 scale.

Hey Danny... give it a shot and make a base.. I'll be keeping a look out for pictures.. The progress of my Maxi-Ambulance taking it's time too..

Danial... if you need pictures of the Vietnam War that might help you "learn" more about the terrain in Nam, try google.

That's quick work Mr Ikickurass..
  :-)
It's like you built that kit in an instant.
Looks great! Love the blood man!

Might want to wash the walls and the ground abit more. Add some dirt. I think even in Urban Vietnam, it's still dusty as hell.

Hmm... what can we add in that empty spot.
How's about a bicycle? More rubble?

it was thru really intense research on the web that i finally came up with this idea...a street corner dio...
actually i planned to do this along the streets but i'll save the idea for someother dio then..hehe
i know what u mean by adding more wash to the walls and ground...but abt the dirt...
i have no idea what to do with it..im still lookin ard though...bicycle? i tink i'll substitute it with something else...im on a low budget dio here....heheh...ending of the mth usually bank almost dry..have to be a bit stingy on this...hahaha

My idea of Nam is that it's always dusty.. like more dusty than how Singapore is?

Hmm... I can't think of any other thing to put since you're on a tight budget.. heh.. how's about... cutting it in half?

I tink he means making the dio base smaller so that the dio concentrates on the figs.

Yup.. that's my idea..
But it's gonna be tough though... that base... the spotlight one... quite thick. And you might ruin the groundwork. Maybe... just stick to it as it is..

After finishing my M113A2, i needed to stick with the desert theme so moved onto the M2A2 Bradley ODS version.
Looks like a challenging build this one.

Hi Jazza...
That is going to be a rather challenging build I must say and it'll look great once done... It's the Tamiya kit right?

Yeah i read through the manual once so far and it does look like alot of parts come together so deciding when to airbrush it will be a little tricky but apart from that, im looking forward to building it.

My fall of Berlin dio is on hold due to lack of resources. So I'm currently working on something small. DMLs AT 2.8cm gun & FJ AT crew. So far, only assembled and painted the faces. Like Danial, I'm tied up with Hari Raya prep too. Here's a pix.

Look at my room!! The display cases are overflowing with dios and models!! I guess I have to slow down or face a real big problem!! There's some more in the living room.

Prob u guyz can visit my hobby room for Hari Raya...Heh..Heh..
