Hi guys,
What's on your workbench currently?
Since i've finished 2 models, now i'm left with 3.
Academy's hellcat, DML stug IV (1/72) and Italeri's Puma.
And i still want to start a new kit! I'm eyeing on the DML panther D and the Tamiya's 1/48 kits in my stash.

Wow, you sure have alot!
I found out that most of my kits in the stash are DML ones. My stash as follows:
DML: Jagdtiger.
Sdkfz 251 Ausf D
Panther D
Tiger I (initial)
KIng Tiger (Ardennes)
Jagdpanther (1/72)
Panther G
Tamiya: Sdfkz 222
Hetzer (1/48)
Sherman (1/48)
That's about it, not counting the 3 figure kits i got. I also just keep buying if it's on sale or if it's cheap etc etc...Anyway, I'm going to Marina later on, i guess my itchy hand might get more!!
Anyway, post pics of your finished Sherman!

Hi guys,
Seems that you guys have your hands full!
I'm waiting for the DML's new battle of the bulge Sherman too!
Ike, regarding uploading of photos. Just go to the 'my account' page and click on the 'my gallery photos' link and go from there!
Anyway, went to MH today and my itchy hands got me 4 kits, Academy's M51 Sherman, Revell's 1/72 challenger, King tiger and italeri's 1/72 panther.
All those for less than $50!

The storewide discount is still on isn't it? That's some good deal you got.

I doubt i'll change to smaller scales. Don't know why. Maybe because of the size :-)
What are your opinions on scales smaller than 1/35?
Cheers

1/72 has come a long way.
The newer DML kits are good. Revell 1/72 kits are good too though pricey.
I'm working on Revell's Challenger 1 right now and i'm basically stunned at the amount of details on the upper hull and everything fits in so perfectly.
Give it a try, since there's a major sale at MH.

Yes! I've broke the 100 post barrier! :-) :-)
Still a newbie though.
I've never tried Revell kits. But I always thought thier kits were cheaper than most other kits, including DML. And Tamiya the more expensive kit around. I'm wrong!
Anyway, i got myself Tamiya's M1025. Very happy.. 20% discount.

Hey Eerie, you got the Italeri's German Paratroopers? I got that set too!
Take your time with the Tiger, as i'm sure i'll too cos it's just really a good kit to mess up with! Keep us posted!
Ike, I do not know about Revell's 1/35 kits but their 1/72 kits are expensive ( but worth it!) compared to the other brands.

Yup i got that Fj, but i haven't started yet, its with my friend. I will pick up my side of the spruce on sunday. I don't think theres much to worry about the faces, cos its too small.
But i m getting sick of making 1/35 figures, i mean i can make everything so nice but when i get to the face, it just piss me off, cos its never perfect for me.
I still prefer my figures at 1/6.
I ve got the new German FJ MOtar team for Monte Cassino in 1/6

Danny, you are never too late to start. But take my advice, WW2 figures are always better then modern figures. I have like more WW2 than modern.
The Mortar team is a good start up.
You might prefer the SS waffen? When you see tigers, kubelwagon and sherman in 1/6, you ll turn to the dark side.
BTW, all vehicles need assembly and painting.
