Wow... that's nice. You make very nice cars eerie.. I got a bad experience with modelling cars (the part when spraying gloss on) and have now gave modelling cars a hold.

Anyway.. how did you make the headlights? Did you stain the plastic with orange/silver?

Very nice "re-weathered" M-3 Lee.. Did you use the pastel to make the dried mud effect?

Sometimes I wonder why people don't just keep their tank as it is... like out of a factory.. :-)
Go ahead and weather it Psyfool..! Keep us updated on the "re-weathered" Stuart..
What kit is it anyway? (Did it come with the interior)

Danial... the 3-tone Camo. on the Tiger is looking good too. Nice touch on the weathering... I don't know, but did you leave the turret out of the 3-tone Camo. scheme? Maybe it's still in progress, do keep us updated on more progress... Don't forget the decals too... :-)

the decal will be up soon..anyways, i also donno why theres no green on the turret..in fact the turret was where i started spraying the green camo on...

U got a very good poit there JM. Why must all the tanks we build be heavily weathered? Shd try one out of factory look. The Stuart is brand new. I think I will weather lightly on this one. It's an Academy kit and it comes with interior. That's one thing good abt Academy kits...

Me too... I think I'll try to build some kits in future that have those "factory look" for proper display.

Have to agree too that Academy does make good kits... They're way better than their older models which just don't fit well (that's 1 problem), etc..

Since this is the "what's on your workbench" post... My current in progress kit is Academy's M997 Maxi-Ambulance. Will post pictures soon. Have to agree... not really a bad kit to build. They got the interior provided too... But do remember to have some openings to "show" the inside... otherwise it's pointless to even paint the inside.

Yeah i stain the silver parts with orange and red. I didn't stain the clear plastic. Cos i read somewhere, its better not to stain the clear plastic

Primed (Tamiya white) and sprayed with Olive Drab (interior). Everything isn't glued together yet and will post further pictures soon..

(I hope the photos are clear enough.. comments appreciated. If there's any that is.. )

Wow, seems like you guys are having your hands full!

Danial, for paint chipping, sometimes i use a sharpened toothpick to do the job. It depends on how 'thick' i want the chips to be.

Completed my Academy Stuart. Quite pleased with it. I might just invest on a suitable Velinden figure to complement the Stuart on a mini dio.

Negative JM...I still don't have an airbrush. The tank is spray painted straight from the can....all other done by brush..

Guys, i think i am going to go very slow with my hobbies. Cos my next Heli gonna cost me 1K.
Anyway the T-Rex might be on my aquistion list. Sources from my other contending contractors also ask me to consider another new hybrid heli which is still waiting for approval from the Singapore PSB.
For u guys info, the T-Rex was used in the rescue efforts during the Katrina disaster in the US. it was modified to be a UAV due to its load carrying ability. Here are some links and a video that will show u what it did for the rescue efforts. I am writing to my boss to consider getting UAV in our budget list.

For me, I'm working on another dio. I've assembled a T34/76 and planning to do a russian assault on Berlin scene. Today, I've just got hold of a 'surrendering germans' kit from TMS and planning to use this set in this dio. Also got 2 russian infantry kits for the 'final assault' on Berlin. There will also be a Pak 40 in this scene. Still thinking of the buildings though.

I've been adding more n more partitions in my 4 ikea display cases. From original 4 sections to eight sections. But soon running out of space! I just can't stop building dios!..My 1/12 scale bikes (abt 26) have already been individually displayed in Ikea display boxes. Some of my cars, WW2 planes, & larger scale bikes are in the display case in the living room. Space is really a problem...

Danny... show us pictures of your StuGIV when done... you really have great skill in building 1/72 scale tanks!

Nice ideas you have there Psyfool!.. Wonder how come you always have so many ideas.. :-)
Anyway... I'll get a layer (base coat) of paint on my Ambulance later and then hopefully post pictures up soon.

Aiya... space constraints is always a trouble... maybe must switch to 1/72 scale like what Danny is doing..

Cool box art! I believe it's DML from the title of the site..

Planning to fix a base for it? Anyway Sir, what's the question you have regarding this kit?
