RC helis...That's another expensive hobby. Don't u need a license or something to fly it? I know the rotors can be quite a hazard.

Yes and no. Well for my trainer, you can start with about $250. It comes ready to fly and my Heli are all electrics. It uses re-chargeable batteries, for my current trainer, it can't really fly outdoor cos its took light to fight agianst wind. But for the above T-Rex, its for both in-door and out-door. Heli is a very complex machine to fly its not as simple as those flight simulator and like a normal Fix Wing RC. Heli are capapble of 3D flying, and it works just as well any Fix Wing, but it doesn't need a large space, runway or max ceiling. With a Heli i can hover very close to me, and have very precise control. Well it does requires a lot of practice. For you i think any Rotary or Fixed wing RC will do fine, cos you stay at Ponggol. Many of my flying buddies stay there.

Hi Guyz, check out my M-10. I've built it quite some time back. I've just re-weathered it with pastel chalks to cover up my bad work last time. I'll be re-weathering my General Lee and also working on a Stuart Light tank I got cheap at TMS. Doing Yank Tanks for a change..

Danial, ur 3 tone scheme is looking good. The mud is also nice. Just a bit of paint chips and washes, it will look great.

Using a fine tip brush, paint metallic grey or gun metal at randomly. Depend on how worn u want to make your tank. U can give a bit more chips on areas where it is more prone to chipping. The edges of hatches, maintenance hatces, hull & areas often walked on. Then u can use pastel chalk powder to dry brush the bottom half of the tank to give it a dusty look. Howver, the dust and the groundwaork shd be of similar color.

Very nice tanks you have there guys!
Psyfool... great job on the weathering of your M-10. It now has a very dusty look indeed. And it sure is a "tank killer"...
But where are the decals to the tank?
Danial... the 3-tone Camo. on the Tiger is looking good too. Nice touch on the weathering... I don't know, but did you leave the turret out of the 3-tone Camo. scheme? Maybe it's still in progress, do keep us updated on more progress... Don't forget the decals too... :-)

Hey Eerie... Very cool looking heli. you have there. Great idea on the nose art. Those teeths will sure scare the hell out of those birds in the sky. How are you planning to paint it on anyway?

This is an academy tank I did some time back. I did applied decals on it originally but don't seem to like Academy's decals. So I decided to just scrap off the decals, left it unmarked and dust it down heavily. Sharp eyes JM!

May I suggest stickers instead of painting? I'm currently working on a lot of stickers dressing up my car...Not the model one.. Tink they are much better alternative coz u can juz peel them off if ur'e tired of it!

So where can i get this stickers? It might be a cheaper alternative to Tamiya Spray and the canopy are just moulded plastic it normally smash when crash. So what are the prices like?

That's wat i tot. No point taking the effort to spray when it gets destroyed often. U can visit bicycle shop or car accessories shop. They sell the stickers by yard. About $3-4 per yard, depending on quality. Or juz ask the uncle for half a yard or so as u don't need that much. Buy 2 colors (white & red) and u can cut out the shape and paste it on. It removes clean too.

Yeah i ll check it out..I m kinda on hold for all new models. I finally folded my modeling table just now. I had completed my EVO, and my STug..
I think my EVo looks better than the Stug. I need to make more weathering with my STUG. Compared to my Tiger which was over weathered. haha :-)

I will keep on weathering it again just like my Panther
