Well done pricklehead nicely finished model, like the effect on the seat with the spring sticking through. Tissue paper for the seat?

Thanks Pete

The seat didn't work out exactly as I wanted but it wasn't bad. Yes just tissue paper.

Hi all. The eagle has landed. This is my first post from Bangkok.
Had a pleasant trip and I'm up to get first impressions off my new hometown.
Nice work guys. Finally the campaign gets a boost.

Nice to hear from you Robert, and glad you arrived safely. Yes we have had a few guys getting their builds done, and they are looking good.

Hi all,

I've not forgotten I have just been very busy, finishing up other camps and my new work room( it's tiny! only 1mtr wide!!).

Chasis attached to base just waiting on glue drying before I can add grass, rocks etc.

A strip of my rotten headliner awaiting staining and attachment. More on that tomorrow.

All the pieces are there just one final push tomorrow to get it done(off to the war and peace show Saturday so I must get it done before then!). Oh dear far too many !!!!!!! LOL

More pics tomorrow with what I get done the rest of today and tomorrow hopefully then I'll be finished.

Now with added headliner! I think it looks ok the pics are not as good as the real thing. It took me about the last month to work out how to best replicate it but as you can see from yesterdays pics I just used a strip of model aircraft grade tissue paper painted and attacked with a scapel blade. Also the base is coming on more sand added along with some grass patches and rocks.

More soon ~I hope.

Ko,

That figure shows the scale of the site nicely.

Thanks guys, Ko that looks superb buddy. I wasn't sure what we would get when you showed the parts, but it has turned out a very nice build. Congrats all on your work, hope to have you aboard again sometime.

Paul, Pete, Thanks for the compliments. The campaign idea subject seemed wide open to get creative and practice a few techniques
