Thanks Dave - thanks Pete.
Still a lot to do, I mentioned it, but it is a joy to see her on the Michelins.
Think the timespan gives me wings. Very creative mind today.
Focus is on the doors and hinges, more color to finish the interior.
One of the pictures I uploaded looks pretty much the same as the last one I posted.
Next saturday she's gone. going to Belgium...
Back to her lover

Next update 20-05-2014

Cheers,

RJ

3 days later, and after some outside, non modeling business, a little update.
On the Citroénforum I made a todo list of 10 points. 2 of them have drinking beer as main activity, so 8 left.
Expecting to finish this weekend, after making some real progress today.

3 pics

I did a little work on the base. Layout for logo and type.
Door No. 1 has the hinges fitted, workable. 3 to go.

enjoy...

I made a copy of the logos used in the '30/'40 and painted them on a wooden underground (old wine box).

Vive La France

Thanks again Pete for the kind words.
Just to finish a project is a challenge of it's own. In this case a matter of drawing the line.
Showed some pictures to other people I know from a trainforum.
They asked themselves, whether this is a real model or some 'artistic computer thing'. My alltime criticaster, a 3D designer called it 'art' That made my (yester)day.

The end is near.

Inspirational work RJ, I can see that will be reading through this thread quite a few times when I get back to my big 1/12 '57 Chev project.
Do you have a more detailed build log hiding away anywhere?

Hi Damian,
Thanks for looking in.
As from the start of this campaign, I shared a lot of pictures. But photospace is not enough when you have several projects running.
So at the end I will make a sort of presentation with some explanation of techniques I used.
One week to go. Lots of work left and hoping the weather is as good next week, like it was this week. That will make a photo shoot worth taken on location.

Cheers,

RJ

Hi all you rusty scrap fans.
She's done. Yesterday the weather wasn't that good to make pictures. So today, the sun is shinning, sky is all blue, I'll take her out for a sexy foto shoot.

Topless, yes! and she likes it

So stay tuned...

Cheers,

RJ

Hi all.

She's gone... A little sad, but also happy moment today.
I took some pictures, I think about 150pcs, so the next coming days you will see some more.
Do have to make some space by dropping others.

Enjoy...

I want to thank Pete for this campaign.

A gift...

Think I've learned a lot, doing things beyond my imagination.
Working on my last project now. A little steamcrane in 1/87 scale. In the meantime a I'll make a selection from my pictures, to send them as a feature to tell the whole story of this Citroën TA 15 Big Six Decapotable.

Cheers to all that joined the campaign. It's not over yet!

Hi Pete,

When I've found my space and time overthere, I will certainly come back to this community.
I still have a lot of plans in modeling. Also going to upload lots of pictures to the network by e-mail. maybe a photo or feature. I don't know yet.

Cheers,

RJ

I've just enlisted in this campaign. I plan on a simple diorama with a sort of; science fiction / post apocalyptic, sort of thing

This is the base materials I worked on today. I'll use 1 walking figure and 1 dog figure from these kits. Most likely the circled figures but modified

Hi.

Been away from the bench for about 6 months and bought this kit as something to shake off the rust. I just noticed today that there was a rusty/scrap campaign and thought that sounds perfect since I wanted to try something new with this kit.

I didn't take a photo with a date, since I didn't intend to enter it in a build group, but I began on the 1st of June 2014. If that makes the kit unacceptable for the campaign I'll understand.

Here is where it stands as we speak.

Cheers

Robert,

Words can not express just how good I think you kit looks. I'd go as far as saying had I not known it I'd've thought it real. It's made run scurrying back to the bench and pull my finger out on my paint job. Well done a true masterpiece.
