Many thanks Mr. Matt.
Say, you're not as anal as Murph said.....and the stuttering seems to have disapeared as well.
BTW, where do I send the bribe money?

Wasn't yelling my friend. I was forcing my will upon you in a rather loud and threatening way. Bring out your undead indeed! Unleash the flamers!

OK, so while I was waisting time doodleing on paint.net instead of actually working on my zombie chase truck, here are a couple of ideas I came up with for an End Of Days campaign award.....
and
I'm still trying to figure out a way to incorporate a rotten flesh smell into the award. May need to consult the smell tech (Cuhail) for further instruction.
OK people, hit the enlist button. Those of you already enlisted should make a list of people for possible initation into the undead club. Then, through systematic bullying, threatening, harrassing, bribes, humiliation, etc. we should obtain the needed 10 people to kick this thing off.

A Les Paul is always good sign Is that a Gibson or an Epiphone model? My daughter got an SG for xmas, actually.
It slays zombies (pathetic attempt at keeping this on topic).

It's an Epiphone. It also slays zombies....just much more cost effective.
Also, in keeping with the theme, he (Hunter) can play some Rob Zombie on it....Thunder Kiss '65.

All the White Zombie tracks from that album are fun to play. In fact, I am calling my truck "Black Sunshine" now - you can thank your sun for me. haha!

OK, so I've had some questions here and there about what I was planning for my entry. This is totally NOT required but if any of you sick minded freaks wanna play along and build something to go with my own personal idea it's totally cool with me. My idea for MY entry is as follows:
The entire world is reeling from the devestation from a.....zombie-alien-nuclear attack- economic melt down....whatever. The USA is fragmented into several different "zones" or statehoods. The American population is only about 10 to 15 percent of it's former numbers. My project will be an 18 wheeler decked out with armor and guns etc. dedicated to long range supply/recon runs which will be based out of "SOUTHERN COMMAND". Southern Command is made up of the survivors of 5 or 6 southern states all based out of the swamps in deep dark Mississippi. It'd be cool to have a few heavy haulers like mine along with some fast movers....support vehicles....even some ratty beat up air support and a few surface ships, bardges, etc.
Right now I'm looking at using an AMT International 4300 Eagle kit. I plan on cutting and lengthening the frame, installing a steel flat bed, and parking a mean fast mover on it....like a mustang or Cuda'.
Anyway, that's my idea for my own personal entry. If anyone wants to pick it up and run with it that's totally cool with me. Remember, it's the end of the world and scratchbuilding so you do what ever you want. Just have fun!

Nice zombie figures Brian. I have some of those on order myself. And the swamp buggy is EXACTLY the kind of cool stuff we're looking for. Go for it.
And welcome aboard to the End of Days Campaign!

I'm in. I've been looking for something to do with an old M60A2 that I've been looking for something to build with.
Anyway, here's my idea (and I'm gonna need some help locating pics and parts, but I have some stuff to trade): gonna build the M60 as a m60 bridgelayer (without the bridge). On the top, I'm going to build a 7-10 foot chain link fence (out of that mesh stuff from Hobby Lobby) with gun positions on the corners. I'm also thinking of mounting a front and rear seats with an RPG and box of rounds to fend off larger mobs of zombies.
In the event that the vehicle is overrun completely, the crew (5ish + driver) will retreat to the interior and ignite a couple canisters of napalm mounted fore and aft. Hopefully this wouldn't cook the crew though. any ideas on preventing this? A run to zombie Lowes for some insulation?
Towed behind will be a fuel trailer (M149?). Running out of gas seems to be the big problem in any zombie movie, so I'd try to prevent it right off.
Stuff I need help locating:
- 2 1/32 napalm canisters. If I can't find these, my folks can rig up a couple 50 gallon barrels full of homemade napalm.
- some sort of fuel trailer. I have a trailer from a italeri jeep kit, if I can find out the dimensions of a fuel trailer, I might be able to build something close
- top pictures of a m60 bridge layer. I looked on prime portal, but they've only got decent pics of the sides.

John, damn good ideas you've got swimming around there. Instead of taking a napalm bath, what about sections of vertical slat armor from the fender skirts to the top gun deck. Zombies couldn't climb it. Also, a minigun at one end and the RPG set up at the other would kick serious a**.
It's still 8 months till the EOD campaign kicks off. Draw up a few different sets of plans and go from there. Trust me, it sucks to get halfway through one of these builds and think up a better idea after it's too late to pull it off. I'm finding that out on my zombie chase truck.
Anyhoo.....welcome aboard and if there's anything we can help ya with just holler.

That's a really good idea on the vertical slat armor! I'd hate to cook everyone inside the tank in that "being overrun scenario." Gives me an opportunity to practice on some slat armor also
I also figured up something if I can't find a fuel trailer (found a couple resin ones, but styrene is so much cheaper). I've got a couple Blackhawk kits that I can steal the external fuel pods from and mount them onto a trailer of some sort.

Hi y'all, here's some more trash turned to treasure. A vegie steamer that had to be 18 years old bit the dust just before christmas (R.I.P. old guy), and was unceremoniously disected before hitting the bin . . . .
Now here's the piece that really inspired me. Tell me that this Rice Steamer bowl doesn't look hellishly (sry) like the top of a concrete bunker, just needs some gun slots and top deck, and a door. I smell a diorama coming on . . .
Now a little teaser, I found a good drawing of the M4 that I will use as a "before" blank. I will post some possible "after" proposals as they are done for public consumption and comment . . .
Cheers guys, D
