To anybody concerned. I received a letter from Bryan this morning, inside was a note of apology and a money order for the full amount he owed me. Whatever circumstances led to the difficulty he found himself in, I sincerely hope he resolves them soon.

Thank you Bryan!

Well some stupid Dutch rules could make it hard for me to cash my money....I'll try tommorow but the question is whether the bank will accept the money order or not

Cliff, you really need to go look at ML. Staff members are NOT the only ones being paid.

Dave I don't know but 70 is still a lot to me

Hmm I'm very excited about this. I hope the bank accepts the cheque (otherwise I guess I'll be pretty angry lol...where's the manager!)

My two cents on the Canadian Postal Service. It took 13 days for a model I won through e-bay from Hong Kong,.... and 10 days for my resin ship from WEM from England....can't beat that service.

Have any of you thought about contacting IPMS Ottawa to see if he's an active member?

Glad to see that some of you are getting your money back. I lost $25 to him (actually $45, but he gave me a $20 refund when I didn't get my model due to "poor Canadian Postal" services) $20 isn't much, but I would like to see it.

Hopefully this is the start of Bryan repaying everyone, and realizing that complete amends are required to all he stole from. (Call it what ever you like--- I call it exactly what it is STEALING!) Hopefully everyone that gets a refund in full will post it, and others will remind him... hopefully without name calling.

I truly believe that Bryan's creditability is forever tarnished, I know that I would never trust him again in a trade or purchase.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me". Luckily it was just once. Never again Bryan, never again. "Q"
ps. I am happy to hear that some folks are getting their $$ back though. I didn't lose a lot, it is just the principle of the matter.

I'll be waiting (but not holding my breath) to see if I get any sort of payment for the 2 models (Sherman - early and Firefly) I sent him.

So he has refunded some people of their money without any other reason aside from the "bad Canadian mail system", is that it?

Perhaps he has been contacted by the authorities, some folks have filed complaints.. Maybe they have given him an option, pay up or be charged...

Tarnished? I'd say it was a lot worse than that but I wont say it here.

For any "My name is Earl" fans out there......Maybe he has learned a lesson in karma and has made a list of all the guys he has done wrong. Hopefully all involved will be crossed off the list. :-)

Well Dave I believe you hit the nail on the head! When I had trouble with others who tried this same tactic and got no response or satisfaction I reported them to the proper agency's and low and behold my stuff arrived! It takes time for the Law Enforcement Agency's to do their work but they do it and things get done. I have only had one not pay up or send my stuff but he ended up spending 6 Months in a County Jail after Others as well as I filed complaints with his local D/A. as well as the Postal Inspectors and The FBI Internet Fraud Site. With The Problems I had in England all I had to do was contact the nearest Trading and Standards board and things happened. I have never had the problem of things not arriving from Canada, slow sometimes but always arrived. Most con Artists start out by gaining trust then taking advantage of that trust there in no way on Gods Green Earth that all the stuff Mr. Gray sent via Canada Post was lost by that organization and I feel that his belated attempts at restitution are due to pressure from Law Enforcement and not a new found sense of Honor! Keep up the pressure and don't let him slide. It is by working on our sense of values and fair play that these Con Men take us to the cleaners. By saying "Oh Well Lesson learned" and dropping it we allow them to continue to steal from others. So if you have been Taken by this individual Please don't let him continue his theft by deception scheme! Report it and make sure the Law does what it is intended to do and let it protect Us and Others in the future.
Just my 2 Cents
