While I was at it I looked at an address I was given by another member for Mr.Gray.
Check out the name of the street

Bryan Gray
2186 Brianna Way
Orleans, Ontario
K4A 4E3
Canada

"Brian away" Maybe that's the honest mistake he was telling the RCMP about.

The address is legit. I was able to find it on an online map. You just can't search for Orleans, as the city has been "merged" into a supercity. The address is considered Cumberland. I was not able to get a phone number for the name or address. I suspect, it is an unlisted number.

From what I have heard from others here in Ottawa, Bryan still lives at home. He is a compulsive liar, and his family have washed their hands of all the problems facing him.

Damien, I'm sorry but your contribution is unhelpful. Please read the entire topic before trying to contribute. He is NOT dead, he has paid some people and is active on other sites. A lot of people remain unpaid however.

Hmmm, not that I am aware of (unless somebody knows something I don't) - he used to be active there as a moderator - that is where I had originally met him...

Damian as you were not ripped off by Grey I don't think it is any of your business unless you can help those of us that lost money to recover it.

I've just been over there and signed up. I can't see that Gray's been on there lately. It doesn't look like you can see a list of members or contact them like you can here unless anyone knows different.
I left a post asking for help to contact him. I'm not expecting much luck though.

Lets keep trying, we'll get there in the end.

Vinnie,
how long was it before the RCMP got back to you? I haven't heard back from my complaint yet. I know your case is closed but I'd expect some contact from them.

He hasn't been active on WW2MM in well over a year. I can't remember the last time I've seen a posting from him on any site.
Good Luck in finding him,
C.

Dear Cliff,

The reason why I asked which figures or kits you tried to receive from him, is because I have many contacts and many good discounts in various different types of firms, and if you could tell me what was you were trying to buy from this guy called Bryan Grey, then maybe I would be able to help you guys out in purchasing these kits at/for lower prices.
It would not bring your money back, however you would receive the stuff that you were trying to Order in the first place.

About this guy called Grey, if you paid by credit card, no matter through which on-line bank system, you should be able to do a chargeback through your bank.

If you have sent a Bank Transfer or Check/Cheque (if more than 6 months have past after you have sent him a Check/Cheque), then I am sorry to say that you have lost your money

I am very sorry if I was sticking my nose into other people's business/problems, however I was only trying to help at the end of the day as this is A FORUM, and not a Private or Reserved Chat Room.

Cheers,

Damian.

Damian, you have every right to voice an opinion here. Did you read or glance through the previous 180+ responses? It takes a while, but is informative and explains the attitude of the victims.

The group of modelers here and in other websites have lost a great deal of money to this one person. They have reported him to various law authorities in multiple nations. Some people received token refunds because of local authorities, the vast majority received nothing.

Some people lost money to him for models he never sent and possibly never intended to sell, others lost models that they sent to him in anticipation of payment.

Unfortunately, around here a quick way to gain the ire of others is to defend Bryan Gray.

Damian

All I see here is someone who trades in figures/models trying to get cheap advertising and sell a few figures!
I see you have an online shop.

This seems to me to be back door advertising instead of paying for your space like others do.

Tell me I'm wrong

No thanks I thought (as did a lot of others) that I knew Bryan Grey and he was on site a lot longer then you. Like Vic said I believe this is just a back way of advertising by you if it is not then I believe you would have much more then 2 posts, both of them being in this thread.

However well intentioned your thoughts were Damian this particular thread is really for those who got ripped off and for those with information about how we may get repayed by grey. The way I see it you just want more money out of us so that you can supply kits that we have already paid for.

cheers

Just thought some of you might like to know.

I've found out that Bryan Gray frequents the following web site.

www.warmongers.ca

His e-mail is [email protected] (although this will probably change as soon as people mail him)

I mailed him and it was no surprise that I didn't get any response.

I wonder if the guys he goes paintballing with know they have a liar, cheat and a thief amongst them.

Whoever posted that thread over on 'WarMongers' should be damned careful as the language in it is

a) Intemperate.

b) Possibly actionable.

I'd also if I was a moderator on that site, delete it immediately.

Just one question, did the person who posted it actually lose money in a transaction with Bryan Grey?

Here's something else to consider...maybe it is time to get over it? I mean I was ripped off as well, but that was over a year ago guys. Life moves on doesn't it? Is he really worthy of a thread that has perpetuated itself for some 6 months? I am truly sorry for everyone who got taken by him and I will repeat - so did I. I think this thread has run it's course and then some. Move on - there are bigger problems in life than losing $100.00 to a guy (speaking of my loss). I lost $100.00 - he lost a friend. In my book, his loss is much greater. Isn't it?

We all know it was me that put the post on warmongers not that I was trying to hide the fact.

Jim, you must be joking, do you really know what that word means?

:-) That's another joke right? He rips us off and gets away with it, I state what he is and what he's done and it's actionable. Well he can try if he wants to. Beside that most of these posts are actionable in that case.

I dare say you would Jim but then your always too quick off the mark and ready to force your views on others.

As it happens I had a very good, concerned response from the administrator over there. The post hasn't been deleted out of hand but taken out of the public domain while the matter is investigated.
I wouldn't expect them just to take my word for it.

Yes I did, $147.26 USD and no I couldn't really afford to spend that sort of money on a figure but it's is one that I really would love to have and it was OOP.

Jim, I don't want a flame war with you as that will only get this thread locked but you've got to measure your responses more.

If you look at the gear those guys use you can see it's worth a hell of a lot of money. Imagine if Gray did the same thing on that site. $$$$$$$

Hi Alex,

I know what you're saying. Don't get the idea I'm devoting a lot of time to this guy. I just keep my eye on this thread. A bit of info came my way that will hopefully cause Gray a bit of discomfort and to let him know he's not fogotten.

It doesn't hurt to keep this thread going, who knows, maybe we'll read the authorities have caught up with him one day.

Sooooooooo close to hitting my delete link......

This thread is no longer serving any purpose. Brian Gray's name is mud. The instant he were to ever reappear trying to sell models online it would be over. I would PREFER to keep everyone's posts here for their sakes, but I am tired of the way this topic is being used lately.

I am locking the topic and if someone has something that REALLY needs to be added to it they can PM Rob for it's inclusion.

Jim
