wow, some great builds going on for this campaign. can't wait to see the finished pieces.
on this subject: what are the campaign requirements for photos?
do we upload 1 photo (or more)?
do we upload a pre-paint photo or the finished model?
the campaign info doesn't say much and my album is getting full so any help would be appreciated. cheers, bd.

@ Bob (OD): I will follow your directions or just let you lead with that vehicle. Nothing can stand in ytour way

If you are old enough to remember Smokey and the Bandit, that would be the lead trucker in any convoy
@ Bruce: Have you tried Photobucket, it is a standalone storage for photos that many of us use and we do not have to use this sites album for the build photos. Only for the final finished pic.
@ Justin: I hope you have been taking plenty of photos of you build process because I smell a feature coming on with your build and probably with several others ( Damian, OD, Bruce, HARV and others ) Great work guys.

Yeah Bob, agreed on both counts, Justin's HELLWAGON is amazing, it just has a "Don't mess with me !" stance all over it.
And I can see an awesome feature in the making with the number of great builds going on.
Now we just need our leader to chime in and things will really cook here.
Cheers, D

@Justin: that thing is a monster!
There's a lot of great builds going on... it's a good thing this isn't a competition.

A few more pictures to show (I haven't put up too many lately because it's mostly a whole lot of repetition right now):
Things are beginning to multiply around here:
Squeezed a little too hard on this one, but I like it... it's battle scars, right?
These look like shopping tags:
I've been a sloppy builder lately, but I think I can clean that up with sanding and putty.

Ok! Justin let me go to the paint shed with ya I am ready get some color also and then let me run interference so that you can wipe em out

brother.
Adam I can not wait to see what that is

and with what has been displayed here I bet it is something great. Build on and come on out to play

.
Lookin for ya Bob, Damian, HARV, Hermon, Bruce, and everyone else. The horde is getting thick out here.
Here are some photos of "Tinker Bell" before she goes into the paint shed.
1. the turret has a flame gun and a rapid fire 20mm.
2. the headlights turned out better than expected (not because of me).
3. rivits on the bumper were the hardest item for these old eyes and shakey hands.

RIP, Tinkerbell looks like a speed demon with some firepower, can't wait to see her all frocked up !!
My build has stalled while I take care of some other Campaign builds, but rest assured guys, my mind is always on the job here and I have some cool ideas for my second build and dio cooking away.
Cheers, D

Justin...that rig is really shaping up nice...are you going to add anything to the front in the way of zombie shreading - not that it needs it!

I've been AWOL too, but my build will fit into that.
The base of my ride is an old Tamiya M60A2, with everything else scratched (the seats came from a blackhawk kit). Still needs a few things (guns, a cooler, flag, and some zombie bits), as well as weathering.
There is an old M60A1 down at the local national guard armory as a gate guard, so I figure it would be reasonable to think I could get ahold of one. I got the idea of a hunting platform from an actual hog hunting "truck" that I saw.
Here's my pitch:

John Boy's Zombie Safari is a company that caters to those people who (for whatever reason) were unable to take part in the initial zombie extermination. While there are still some zombies lurking out there, we're here to help you to bag your own trophy! From the relative safety of our zombie buggy, we'll drive you out to the zombie territories. Our hunting platform and chain link fense around the buggy will keep the zombies at bay while you may leisurely select targets.

Agreed....she looks dang good the way she sits...was just askin though......with those two massive gattlings she don't need anything else for the business end of your build..that's more than enough!

Man...I see a ton of creativity going on here! It cracks me up when folks say "I can't do that kind of stuff"...they've obviously never tried it then.
Now, for some more progress on my battlewagon-
Got the upper deck nearly covered, just need the cross pieces between the axles and I'm good - once I sand and smooth it all down of course. Next up will be the tank rack behind the cab and to plumb the air scoops and exhaust.

@ Bob: the plumbing has always been a much feared task for me, but after veiwing your ingine campartment I have some sort of idea

(dangerous in my case) . I am possitive that you could get away with nothing else but those nasty looking runem over things sticking out from the chassis and the dozer blade to just plow em over and into either just road kill or a puddle of nothing left but for the vultures to pick at. Good job so far Bob I can not wait to see what else comes out of the ideas that you are squeezing out.
@ Justin: Mr. Nasty/Death himself I do not think that you need any decals, "She" is just plain MEAN as she sits there ooozing out all of the warning to all hordes that JUSTIN means business, just step out so I can see you then "POOF" no more you.
As Bob (OD) put it, just trying is more fun than all of the kits that I have built or destroyed before this campaign started and is just waaaayyyy! toooooo! much fun than should be legal. Not only have I gained in my building skills here in this campaign I have also met some good builders / freinds and in no small measure had more fun than the last (10) years put together. Thanks for the fun guys and it is not over yet. Oh! Justin where is that drawing of the suit that your were talking about.
@ John: what material is the fencing made from, it looks very useful. I like the dozer blade and who has any money to go for a joyride after the apocolypse?
