No worries at all Emma , your health comes first . The build can wait . You did not let us down at all . It was a pleasure having you a board and look forward to seeing the pic's of your build when you do get her finished .

Even though that this one has had its bumps in the road , there will be more in the future just for us Ladies ! Life seems to have a way of getting in the way and bad timing on my behalf .

Sorry to hear you had to stop your build Emma but that is probably the best decision what with being sick and all and you've let no one down we enjoyed your being part of the build. Get better and we will see you on the next build.

So we are going to the end of the month? that's cool. I've been working and sick myself,. checking in for the first time in a couple of weeks.

Well, I should have him assembled and pretty much done tomorrow. Unfortunately, I won't have the heraldry done as all my good brushes died and the new ones only just arrived. I don't want to rush that part and one day just won't do, so he'll look a little blank, but it's not like guys never wore plain tunics. (I'll add the heraldry later on.) I've never had so much trouble as with this guy. The paint kept chipping and rubbing off (bad batch of primer) and since the surcoat is yellow, that means layer upon layer of paint to fix it. Now I keep wondering why I picked yellow.

Will post pics tomorrow!

Well, here he is. I would have had the pic in sooner, except I dropped him ( )and had to reglue the sword and fix the resultant chips. I decided to make my own groundwork for him rather than use the resin piece that came with the kit.

Wendy, for all the trouble you say you've had with the figure, I think it came out looking great !! I hope you'll post a pic when you've added the heraldry. Man, I wish I could do a figure half as well. My little vignettes would really pop.

Great job, Wendy, and to all the finishers. And to those who got sidetracked, well - you don't have to be in a campaign to post a pic. I know I'd love to see how your projects turned out.

Cheers,
Mike

Gee Wendy. If I looked like that I'd got the Aragorn-part from Viggo Mortensen. I'll cross my fingers he makes the finishing line without more scars.

Fantastic work Wendy, he turned out amazing. I've been following along for awhile and am really glad to see you got a chance to finish this one as it is an interesting piece. Very nicely done!

Close, but no cigar..... I was truckin' along at a good pace, then had a set back with the canopy. Here is what I had completed when a piece of the canopy broke while I was polishing it.

Oh well. I will post a few pics when I get it finished.
