I seem to be able to play by myself if I set up my own server but I don't ever seem to be able to connect to "Armorama" am I missing something, do I just type in "Armorama" or do I need to add the port connection (21000) as well? I really would like to join in.
Been flying a 262 and landed it as well

Within the game you must click on play it at ubi.com and you will be forwarded to the ubi server room. Then you must go to IL2 FB, then IL2 doghfight and then choose the Armorama arena... (circus)
You can't join in from within the game only... you should have in one of your ubi folder the GS4 application. This one allows you to get connected....

Sorry, I didn't saw you! Did you launched the ubi application and saw Mal on the roster? You tried to enter the Armorama Arena?

We will try again next week I suppose so stay tuned for further informations! I will also start a new thread with a detailled explanation on how to get connected. I managed to make screen pictures with my PC and will make a detailled step by step.

P.S. Is there a day and timeframe you prefer?

Yes, I saw the Armorama server and Holdfast was in it - though away, I typed in the password CIRCUS and it would not connect, just kept timing out.
One question, I have all 3 games installed - PF+FB+AEP, do I need to have just FB installed in order to join ya's?

Yes... I think a clean install of IL2 FB is needed. You must also upgrade it to version 1.22 in order to work. A free ubi.com account is needed as well (but I think you already have one). You can sign up here

I couldn't fly last evening, but I'm looking forward for the next week's session(s). That friday evening and saturday afternoon works best, IMO.

Kencelot, don't unistall your FB+AEP+PB! There's way to have both games installed. You can't install a new copy of FB, if you have it already on your computer, you have to do this.
First, copy your FB+AEP+FB to another location on you pc (just copy/paste). Then, unistall the ORIGINAL copy. Now your pc doesn't "know" that you already have FB+AEP+FB elsewhere. Now you can install a new copy of FB. Then just update it and your ready to go!

So, we're having a dogfight tomorrow? Same time as before, I presume?

PS. If we're having another game on Saturday, afternoon would be best, IMO.

Edit: I got response from Ubi regarding the connection problems. The answer was short. Ensure that all people have the same version of the game. So anyone who has been unable to connect, please check again that you have the right version (IL2 FB 1.22).

Yes tomorrow same time, same procedure! Unfortunately it will probably not work for me Saturday I think, but someone else can do the server.

For those wanting to join in, I'll start a new "official" IL2 FB Armorama Arena with a step by step explanation on how to play online... with pictures I'm working on it right now!
