I m blurred but I think your compressor can be saved. Probably just replace all those plastic with something metallic like brass, e.g.

Some use knives but I use syringe. Let us clone you Sil!
Sorry to hear that but please show me the pics of the damage so that I figure out what I can do to your compressor.

Status for today
the damaged compressor part was being repaired. I seal the crack with superglue... but that wont cured it 100% but at least i can still spraying... the hissing sound is there but slower than before.... so i think i have to get the replacement jugak laaa
my Flak 43 is almost ready..actually it's finished last week but the oil washes ruined some of the base color..damn!
so now working on the figurines for the flak dio.. they were 1 legend production figures relax, 2 CMK soldiers also relax and a bunch of DML infantries doing whatever they like..haha
the flak bunker is 98%(??) complete!
beside that on the shelf i have 1/48 F-15J...still at 20% construction phase...
and i think mojimbo like this, the work on my Flak 18/36 was already commenced last night...took me 3 hours to assemble to gun and its subassemblies..sakit mata woooo..so many part... the main gun itself have over 30 parts....
that's update for today..
what about you??

right now, my work in-progress is dml's pz.3 befehlswagen -assembly 60% done.... and still need to finish my M20 for spahwagen abteilung campaign...

seems i developed a habit that i'll finish assembling a few kits, put them aside, assemble more kits.... and finally painting all of them in one go at weekends... (i hope that's a valid excuse :-) !)
stuff to be painted next: panther G & PZ.IV ausf G
... can't wait to see the 88 and that flak bunker dio.. looked very promising the last time i saw it!

that 88 kit sure looks nice... but no budget now la. maybe someday dragon will release a sdkfz 7 to go with it!

Sorry to hear about your compressor Boss. As for me I've finally finished my first resin figure on vikings and took some pics with my early birthday gift from the Home Ministry, a digital camera (Ricoh) with a macro capability of 1 cm. Too bad my camera skills are about as good as my airbrushing skills both of which are non-existent.
Going to work on (fingers crossed) a little Monte Cassino vignette with German paras. Vietnam era currently on hold and hopefully I'll stay a while in WW II.

Thanks Mojimbo. My work still has a long way to go to reach the level of the 2 Alans and Haunted Tank's work in our M'sian forum.
I have posted it in Figures forum under the titile of "Varangoi". Many thanks again for the encouragement Mojimbo.

Not my current cup of tea but I have to say the camo is very well done with a nice delicate wash to bring out the details, Argrillion.

flak enbankment
my compressor is still bocor la...but i tampal with epoxy filler..will see it this evening when the filler is cured...
the thing is, according to the machine spareparts tauke, my pressure switch is not mean for air compressor..it's for water pump....and the part is a lot more expensive than that of air compressor...
arghhhhh...all of them pening to learn about my compressor setup...

Boss Sil, looks like you got con (for buying the compressor) or you are about to be con (for replacing the pressure switch).
I share your confusion as recently I had my compressor bearing replaced and then the motor fused! It took a couple of gruelling weeks to get my compressor repaired. Sorry to hear your compressor is still having problem.

Argrillion,
itu la pasal...
so many con man la..the thing is the compressor is kinda funny
and more funny than any these,, i'm inspector of factory and machinery ...been working a while in compressor design.,.,.gave approval to pressure vessel...
but they were all industrial grade compressor / vessel...when come to this small compressor, i'm lost..
i bought it without any technical sheet/specs..that's bothering me ..even the company that fabricate those industrial compressor also pening la when i told them about my tiny compressor
and they also dont have the tiny spare parts
so know, i hope the cracked filler will do its job!! Otherwise i may need a new compressor la ...but that mean i have to sell my car then..haha

Sil, there is a compressor spare part shop along Jalan Pudu somewhere near the Waterman shop. You can see the shop on the right if you are travelling from Puduraya to Jalan Pasar (after Pudu Jail). The shop is on the same row with quite a bit of spare parts shops. Hope this info helps - found it on Saturday 10 Sep 2005.

There is no LRT over there. You will need to drive there along Jalan Pudu heading towards the intersection of Jalan Pasar after Pudu Jail (or Jalan Bukit Bintang)). According to the advertisement board, they repair compressors from Iwata also.
I will sketch a map if required, Sil.
