When you wake up in the morning, roll over and tap your wife on the shoulder and say "I think I know how to make that canopy fit on the P-61 now !!"

When you are off work because you injured your arm and realize that life is unfair. Now you have all the time to model but can't use your arm.

When you start your own LHS and operate it at a loss solely so you can buy kits wholesale and pass off the stash as stock shelves to the wife.
When you buy six new kits for every one you complete.
When you decide you'll never complete the stash so it's time to prune it back, so go and sort through the three hundred odd kits and come back with one old Tamiya Flakveirling that can go.

When your credit card is maxed out so you get another one just for modelling goodies!
When you say yeah ok to your wife or girlfriend to whatever they are talking about because working on that newest figure is more important.
When you do not care about anything but when is that model order getting here.
When its more important to finish that model then to have some fun with the little women in the bedroom.
When you place another model order instead of paying the house payment.
When you let your wife spend $200 on her hair just so you can get another $15 figure

when your daughter ask what are you going to her for christmas and you reply how about that new Tiger tank that just came out!!
When your wife has just gave birth to your first child and you say can I go home I want to finish that model.
When your model collection is worth more then your home
When your idea of that hot looking model is not Angelina Jolie but that new Panzer III that just came out
When you are running to the mail box to hide that new model that is coming so your wife doesnt find out about it
When you lie to your wife about the HUGE box of models that arrived and you tell her some guy gave them to me for free.
When you spend as much time on this site as I do!!!
when you post more then one comment on this forum about "you know you are a modeller when"Guilty I am!!!
When you are crying and your stomach hurts from the comments to this post!!!
When all of the comments on this subject are things you have actually done or are now thinking about doing

You want to name your first daughter Tamiya.
LOL She could shorten it to Tammy when she's old enough to be embarrassed by it

You know you're a modeller when you visit your friend in hospital and find yourself wondering if the tubing on his saline drip would work on your airbrush
