Hi Pawel

I echo your thoughts. My colleagues are all safe, but the phones have been ringing constantly with friends and relatives checking we're OK - I think they know what's going on better than we do...

All the best

Would have been travelling that way this afternoon......

Everything is very confused at the moment, but the number of fatalities is low so far. Hope that it stays low.

News told us it had been a suspected powersurge that caused the explosions, apparently buses get power surges nowadays, and explode when it happens.
President Bush is instantly with Blair having an urgnet meeting, suspicious yet?
News just updated us about 15 mins ago, traces of explosives found at the scenes, Israeli ebmassy had notified London authorities of a possible attack, thats all they told us, attack by whome? they didn't say.
Stay safe my english brothers....we'll get the S.O.B's who did this.

It's shocking what has happened, and a little close to home as I often pass through one or two of those stations. Our police leaders said a couple of years ago that it was not if, but when the terrorists would strike London. What pleasure do they get out of hurting totally innocent people, and what religion or interpretation of god do they think could possibly be pleased with their evil work ?

Another Black day in history,

My thoughts are with the relatives of the victims, and with all the wounded.
I can't understand why human beings are doing things like this to one-another....

After so many years of "civilisation", and we're still like the cave-men!!

John.

Having followed the events all morning on the news, It appears that several bombs went off, at least three underground on the tube, and one blowing the topdeck off a dubble decker bus.
Considering the rush hour, the number of cassualties seems not to bad, and so far only a few fatalities have been reported. Each one off course one to many..

The Londoners seem to have reacted in their typical, stoic response.. There is no panic, the emergency services have responded in a magnificent, co-ordinated way, and everybody is getting along. London has afterall a lot of experience when it comes to bombs, either from the air or on the ground.. They didn't win before, they won't win now..

I suppose that it's one off those things of the time we live in. The security sevices have been saying this for a long time, it's not if they strike..it's when...

I'm saying nothing new here, but I hope that all the Armorama members and their families are ok and my heart goes out to those who were injured and their families.
