Ever since 9/11 I have tried not to get envolved in what has been going on around the world. But I find myself compelled to offer my condolances to our British friends for all who got hurt.

I also hope that they realise that whatever small group of demented people who did this does not represent the Arab population nor do they represent Islam as a religion. It's really sad that those misguided souls don't realise that by doing what they do, they hurt their own people and their own religion.

Can't really say much more.

The one day I don't turn on my computer with my morning coffee. I had to hear about this on my drive to work. It didn't help my driving any because I could barely see through the rage I was feeling. I'm am so so very sorry this has happened and I pray for all our Londoners on this board, along with my relatives there, that they are safe. I'm as sure as I can be that the animals, for that is what they are, will be brought to justice.

Quite

Don't fall into the trap of judging any group on the basis of a tiny (and tiny-minded) part of the group.

I a gree with Hisham in that this hurts the Arab world as much as us and that some of the injured could be of any faith or creed - Man has done it before and will do it again- It is just sad for everyone

The thoughts and prayers of my family and I go out to those killed and wounded in the explosions and their families. I hope that none of our Armorama members are among the casualties.

It really starts to be a weird world at the moment. And yes probably another side effect of religion.
I really hope all the Armorama people are safe but I also hope the wounded and the people who were there are safe and will make it. For the people who didn`t make it I hope the suffering didn`t take long. For the people who lost relatives I wish them strength for the people that are still missing family and or friends I hope the time of questions will not take long

A sad sad day indeed...

There has been a lot of publicity over the last few months given to the efforts of 'civil rights' campaigners fighting to allow known & suspected terrorists and activists from several organisations to stay in this country, and to remain free from investigation, arrest and deportment.

I hope that those interfering liberal wets are now hanging their heads in shame. I'm not saying that we could have prevented todays events, but why leave these people to roam our streets in safety to plot and carry out this kind of moronic atrocity.

Hisham, there are no worries that these terrorists speak for anyone but themselves.
I can assure you and them that they will be defeated just like the IRA were. Life will go on, London and the rest of the UK has seen it all before. Us brits do not give in to Terrorism, they cannot possibly gain anything by this type of cowerdly act. The sad part is that they do it under the banner of faith. They are a minority trying to force their will on others. It is also likely, given Londons diverce community, thay they have killed and/or injured their own.
They have achieved nothing.

while these evil, cowards are doing things like this, we can at least take hope in the fact that on this site decent people of all religions and backgrounds are simply getting on with each other.
my thoughts are with those who have suffered loss and injury
