Hey Guys! Ito nanaman ako, si feeling thread-starter!

Hehe! Well, I was thinking, limited and mga kits na nakukuha naten dito, and more often than not -- the traffic, and the hassle of travelling is one of the reasons we can't scour all our local-hobby-shops for their latest inventory, and notable finds, etc. Most of us discuss our notable finds in threads, and mahirap hanapin ulit yung model, at kung san man nahanap. Right?

So ito, hope this helps!

Ako naman, I'm collecting WWII and other Armor kits, para pag natapos ko na cars ko, sila naman. He He.

This I want: http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/35264m2a2bradley/index.htm

I think the rereleased Bradley is already available at Lil's Megamall and Park Square. Haven't checked at JMN yet

You are right Jomz, our hobby shops are only selling models but w/ limited stocks & brands of paints,PE's, resins & etc. Only for the paints mostly Tamiya are available, but specific color & FS numbers is so hard to find and I've preferred Model Master with wide varieties & specific colors.

Actually, I can do many models at a time. One model is painted while the other one is assembled. It should never be a problem. Maunahan ko nga si LaTtEX!

Yep, I love Harriers! Most of them except GR1B because of it's ugly snout/nose.

BTW, magkano nga yung Bradley? Cute eh

IIRC, the re-released Bradley is (was) at JMN last time I was there (two weeks ago).

Don't exactly recall the Bradley's price. Somewhere between 500 to 1000 just to be on the safe side

Just came from Lil's Parksquare, t'was my first time to concentrate on the Military Scale Models -- I usually just go in and check out the cars, paint, and tools. I try to go in and out since I don't really feel comfortable with the darn sales-ladies, darn customer-backstabbers -- uncouf too! The only person there who seems to be in the know-how is the lady with the Glasses (not the owner, ha!). I remember an incident that a customer went in and picked up PS paint, one of the ladies maybe having the "gusto" of conversation said na: "Sir, ano ba models mo?" the guy says: "Architectural Models gagawin ko eh", the lady goes: "Sir pang R/C cars yan eh...". So the modeller, being a customer and who IMO has every right to choose whatever he deems is fit for his models just says "Ok lang, I've used this before". Sabay the uncouf lady argues na kesyo "bahala kayo.." with the matching pamaywang and irap. After the customer leaves, a plethora of badgering was laid out, and to think I was still there -- me of course, being a customer. Just stupid sales-work. Stupid stupid stupid. They even eat on the counters, and when you ask them about something, they point to whoever isn't eating. hay nako, just stupid.

Anyway, back on topic. I saw the new Trumpeteer Leopold, whopping Php 3,995! Haha! Plus I saw the new Humvee of Tamiya, forgot which model-number it was sells for around for around Php 800+, the Bradley was going for around that price, too. Mahal nung isang may PE parts, a TIGER, IIRC halos Php 1,700.

Ayun!

haba naten mag-quote! di kaya magalit si Jim saten niyan?

with regards to the Humvee, yeah I think so, it's pricier than the Bradley because it has extra hoods, and a couple of other features ata.

There was another BIG box, Dragon yung brand eh -- 60cm gun? I forgot the model-name, had to rush to Inter-con to watch Honda's robot ASIMO.

the 60cm gun is the Karl Morser Super Heavy Mortar by Dragon. Next AFV proj ko yan after the SCUD. Also, meron pang katulad yan na kakarelease lang ng DML together with the Leopold but ofcourse another version of Karl.

Medyo tactless nga yung mga babae dun. Di ko naman sila kinakausap so ok lang. Yung aso kala ko libre for every 500 peso purchase. Tapos gumalaw.

The 800 peso Humvee is the latest version of the Humvee. The cheaper Bushmaster Humvee is the older innacurate Italeri rebox. I can't justify getting this for myself because it's just too darn expensive for its size.

Payday na! Get it! hehe! Hmm, I'm not really apt on getting the Humvee either, maybe the Bradley -- it being my first tank purchase, although it does stray from my Vietnam-era diorama idea I have in mind. :-)

The girlfriend soo likes the dog in the shop, but after an inquiry -- it wasn't for sale. He He.

Yeah, with the progress-articles he has on his site "sharing" talaga, ang galing everything down to the painting, scratchbuilding -- learned a lot from his site. Have his book-marked. Hehe
