BISIGI might find THIS interesting when it becomes available
Hey, if I'm not mistaken, I saw this at STC Alabang. Pagkapasok mo sa loob, sa may bandang dulo, maraming 1/35 figs doon. Check the boxes on the right, I saw a box similar to that.

I saw these really cheap 1/35 Academy tank kits at both STC Virramall and STC Filinvest. Panzer IV, Stug. IV, Flakpanzer "Wirbelwind" - P360 each! I got the Stug IV, instructions could be better but at that price, theres not much to complain about! Don't know how they get them so cheap.....

Well most of Academy's early kits like the PzIV based AFVs are direct copies of Tamiya kits. That's how they began as a company. I hear that they build up to be decent models with some time and love though. Php 360 is a bargain.

I think Lil's has some expensive die-cast? versions of that gun-kit. Albeit, last time I checked the quality wasn't that agreeable with regards to the price Lil's was asking for it. Though, if you guys want to check it out, it's on the glass display box by the side of the store(sa luob ha) behind the front-displays. (++)

Oh indeed Tovarish Ivan! One can never have enough machine guns lying around - especially if you're participating in Twilight 2000 campaign. Thanks for the heads up!
Jomz: I reckon you're talking about Lil's Parksquare. Yes, these are white-metal parts. Looks... nice.... but I think it needs a lot of cleaning and is I think (not really sure) 1/32 in scale.

Ahhh, hmm....plus last I checked the quality of the gun itself isn't that great. Here's a link you'd probably like to follow GI

STC Alabang has a relatively new store keeper who's cute. Long hair, ponytail, a slight chinita, dresses well, and quite helpful too!

Hey, she is afterall a "new arrival" and a "notable find."

Methinks me visit that store more this holiday season hehehehehehe!

Good Lord... P350... for a 1/48 Su-27 by Academy?!?!? You sure this is by Academy? Because, when I got my Su-27C Flanker 1/48 Academy eons ago, the going rate was P750. Last time I saw one at Accurate Model Works Southmall, it was P900+ or P1000.
I reckon the "K" you saw is "Kangnam." I got one, a 1/72 A-6 Intruder. It's ok of a kit, cockpit needs detailing, fit is ok, but they did mess up with the canopy.
Blitz: well... hehehehe

Hmmmm.... GI is going on planes. Well that's new. Hope you enjoy AC's! 350 is good for a 1/48 especially it's a modern plane. Most of it cost 600 and above.

http://www.jmn.cjb.net/ for the schedule and discounts. There might be something you've always wanted on sale and since we will be having our EB there, well, you know what I mean........

SALE?!?!?!?!?! MUST GET PHONE DIRECTORY!!!! MUST CALL TO MAKE RESERVATIONS! MUST CHECK BANK ACCOUNT FOR FUNDS.... WHAT... NO FUNDS! HORRORS! HORRORS! HORRORS!

Flex: Operation Jiminy Cricket is on the 20th - just right smack within the sale period!

1200hrs will be the meet at JMN. I hope you come over as well. We'll be discussing on IPMS-Phils expansion, perhaps a chapter based at DLSU or UST. :-)
Same here, too! I rarely buy 1/48 now. Before, I thought it was God's gift to AC modellers. Now, I think it's a curse for me because it's just too overwhelming hehehe I have NOT finished a single 1/48 kit - EVER! So now, I'm doing 1/72 AC - but haven't finished any either hahahahaha
Kangnam's price is ok. Cheaper than Academy IIRC. I reckon some are reboxed kits from Italeri and such.

Do please tell Natalie (wow, as if I know her personally hehehe) that sales will hopefully jump up on the 20th. hehehehehe
(according to a recent survey, JMN's sales went up by 250% on the 20th of December, and on the same date, several people had their gross savings decreased by 250%. Hmmm... connection?

Oh I do hope there're import-cars on their shelves, even a nice euro/italian car would do me good. Last I was there most of their car-kits were limited to Revell-kits lang.

That is a nice Sherman. Sayang 'coz I have with me here a 1/16th Tamiya Sherman that Desi sandbagged and I don't have a camera. He built this for a customer of mine. That same cusctomer also had Desi convert another 1/16th Sherman into a Israeli Sherman. That was fantastic! Sayang wala na yun sa akin.

Do you know where I can get really cheap styrene sheets? Yung mismong flat sheets, medyo thin as a single sheet of paper and can be as large as A4 paper, or something like that. I will need it badly for my 1st scratchbuilt project :-) . BTW, anyone of you seen any M4A1, preferably with figs and rubber tracks?

Try to attend the IPMS meeting next month so you can meet Mel(Webster). Fritz knows about this. He has styrene sheets in UP(he is a professor there) as big as blackboards and in different thickness. You can probably just buy from him depending on how much you need.
