Soooooooo..........Tread you read the book as well, good on ya! Sorry about the linguistic lapsus. #:-) Lost control and allowed my tongue to work faster than my brain. That can be dangerous, especially if you've got it wrapped around a plate of pasta al fresco..OOPS

Jack in the beanstock :-)

...Yep Capt., I did read it. Right after the unofficial bio on Jung, and about a year or so before the somewhat interesting dally on Sartre, or was that Kafke?
Don't remember, must be that file drawer thingie again.

Ok, so I'll admot not reading all 13 pages !! of responses, but I have the best of both worlds going in a couple of ways.

First, yes circular.. buy it , dream it, reference it, hunt aftermarket (big enjoyment there), read what others did to it, build it, paint it, weather and display it..

there are a lot of places to bog down in the middle of that process for me, that's why I have three levels of building I do.
Super-dooper AMS laden retentive armor building
Quality built, but not super detailed Sci-fi
1/72 historic aircraft slammers for the deiling of my classroom.

This way I have some project in process at any given stage I am motivated to work on. I want to do basic construction, easy to find a kit to do that to, superdetailing, grab out an armor in-progress, just want to build, but feel like doing a 'nice' job then it's sci-fi..

works for me

Secondly and related to the first, I have MADD (modelers attention defecit disorder) REALLY bad! hopping around from project to project...but it plays into the abovementioned not minding if a kit is 'in-progress' for more than 5 years..

My $0.02

Geezzzz........You pigs are hogging up all my glory,

I had intended this to be the longest running all-time thread Things are tough here in the old home sty, so I don't always have the opportunity to participate as I used to. Perhaps one day soon, things will improve and I can once again return to the happy modeeling swine I once was :-)

Ok - while doing some serious construction it dawned on me - What if the Hockey Pockey is 'what its all about'.
Well maybe it was glue fumes or the wine to find the ultimate foil? Not sure but I"ll leave my left foot in for awhile.

Jack - have you ever tried to polish a donkey turd??? #:-) #:-)
