Welcome to the campaign!
It's going to be interesting to watch... (Actually, your photos scared me. I will get every single one of those 251s you have there. They'll probably keep me occupied, but man... I never actually had a picture how big the pile would be.

)

If you'e not careful you'll end up with a 'wall of shame' unfinished kits like I've got.
I am a little afraid to post a pic..

This thread/campaign has gotten more modeling done on stalled porjects than anything since I tried to finish a kit per month in 05.
Progress on the 251D, I've gotten the roadwheels on and assorted exterior fiddly bits attached.
The front and rear plate fits are improved with some Tamiya putty and hamfisted glue fingerprints are scraped clean.

So now I am down to just these parts.

the infantry gear is from a DML Gen 2 set and the antennae is one of the Alders nest tapered turned brass ones. Beautiful!
I still have to decide which tracks I'm going to use.
But I'm falling back into bad old habits
I pulled out the DML 251/22, as it stands now.

what's left to do.

plugging away here.
Mike

Looking Good Mike.
A nice collection of 251's to say the least.
Can't wait to see how many you get done.

Well, um... you've seen how well I've done so far.
These kits have been out for how long,??
Counting back to the 3 in 1 D, it is at least 3 yrs now... and I've finished umm.... none.
I didn't even take a picture of the 4-5 Tamiya D's that are redundant now that DML/AFV is in the picture.
Hopefully this campaign is the kick in the shorts I need to get at least some these things built.

Not bad, Mike

I actually started my 251 this weekend... Another started kit in the pile.
I realized my UH-1C does not have the rotormast... All the decas are on, but the rotors will be missing.
The MiG-21 will be in Hungarian colors; no real progress so far (kind of feeling ashamed, this being my campaign and all...)

I had a chance to work on the Revell/Italeri Katyusha BM-13 Russian Multi-Rocket Launcher that I am finishing for this campaign and I have the basic construction completed.

I plan on painting the base color today. Then I will be able to finish the construction and do the detail painting. I hope to have this kit completed by next weekend.
Thanks for looking,

Found another one, next to my M18.......the universal carrier on this pic:

Hope to finish it before IPMS Euro Scale Model 2007 where Kitmaker Benelux will (almost for sure) be present with a stand. This is november 24th.

I should really get motivated and start to finish mine.

So, how's everybody?

Even with the campaign on, it's hard to start on my projects. But the PKZ-2 is on its way -the rigging will be a pain in the neck.
How's everybody else doing?

Well I finished up the Revell/Italeri Katyusha BM-13 Russian Multi-Rocket Launcher that I have been working on for this campaign. I put the finishing touches on it today. I have had the kit for several years and I figured it was about time to finish it.

For an older kit it went together pretty good. There were a few gaps here and there but that was about it. All in all it was a pretty nice kit to build. As always, I didn't do too much along the lines of weathering it.
Anyway this is my official, and only, entry for this campaign. I did like the idea for this campaign as it motivated some of us to finish up those previously started projects.
Thanks for the campaign Andras (spongya).

Congratulations! Too bad, there is no price for the first model finished

Looks very nice. I might just finish my 1/72 version which I almost threw out of the window.
(And I'm still struggling with a decent ribbon... I have a brain-freeze on the matter.)

Thanks Andras,
I guess I didn't realize that I was the first.
As I look at the finished kit I wish I would not have applied the decals to the doors. I think I like the way the kit looked without them. Oh well, as they always say.....hind site is 20/20!!
Thanks again,

I reasonably sure you're the first, but if I was mistaken my apologies. This is a very hectic time for me, and my focus is somewhere else.
Don't you want to get some dirt on that organ? Or is it for the viewing pleasure of Uncle Joe on the Red Square?

(I still can't forgive my mother that when we were in Moscow, she didn't show me the dead Lenin... I think she thought it might freak out a 12 year old, but still -or the line was too big. I can't remember.)

I might do some weathering to it later on. I don't really do much along the lines of weathering, battle damage, etc. as I need to develop my skills more in this area. So due to my limited skills my finished kits always look like they have just left the factory.
So I guess Uncle Joe would have been happy with the looks of this one!!
 HARV
PS. I went back through the posts and I saw that Phil Box (almonkey) was actually the first to finish his project for this campaign. So my glory was fast and short lived!! Good job Phil.

I'm in. I have the USS Arleigh Burke thats about 90% done and a USS Ticonderoga that is LOOKS almost done, but really has a ton of parts to add plus all PE so its about 70% done. Both 1/350th. They've been sitting like that for over a year-I haven't touched ship models forever so getting these done will be a big step to starting a few others. They look enough like ships so they have been displayed incomplete...Photos in a couple days.

Great motivation ... still i did not touch the box of my planned entry ... i might change my mind as I have enough "half started" projects for a life time.
Here is a pic:

and my started "online build":
http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/Flugzeuge/Arndt/WK2/Fw200C-4.htmljust look at the dates and you know I really need motivation for this ... or a kick in the ass ... or a better model

Again many thanks to the wise guy who started this campaign
 cheers

I should really just grab any of the nearly 30 stalled projects and finish at least one of them up. I really should do that! Really.

My M1114 is a Tamiya M1025 base with the MIG M1114 Conversion set and The Tank Work Shop tires. It's not been to difficult. The only complaint is the Roof section from the MIG kit was alittle bowed. Great but slow build.
