Hi!

I think everybody have somthing to sit on while one are building / painting models. Now the question:

Do you have a wooden stool to sit on or a mega-hyper-comfort armchair with massage in it? Bad example....

I don't mean that you should choose between them... Tell us which sort of chair you have got...

I have a wodden chair with a cushion.

I sit on an old office chair

Just enough comfort for modeling. funny things is that only when I`m eating and when I`m sleeping I`m sitting in office chairs it`s some sort of routine I guess :-)

I use an old kitchen stool. I re-covered the cushion in soft leather and it is a lot more comfortable on the rear than it used to be. :-) :-)

I use a chair for a computer desk. It's padded, but not so much that it's super-comfy, it swivels, and it's near my computer so I can look up refs and post/answer questions as they come.

I've an old, oak, office chair that has casters so i can move easily.Yeah,it's hard, but it keeps me sitting up straight which is good for my back and allows me to model longer.I also enjoy the look and feel of the old wood. It's very real.JOCK

5 year old computer desk chair whose back cover was never all that well attached and finally fell off. It was retired from the computer room to the modeling area, a 1990 era l shaped computer desk and my desk from high school (yes, they'd already invented wood back then. #:-) )

I've got a decent task chair, cushion and wheels, hydrolic lift adjustment. Pretty nice. I give it up when the kids join me. I get religated to a metal folding chair. You gotta do what you gotta do to keep them interested.

Ames special $14 cheapo metal folding chair of 2 years; It's also my computer chair (Heck, my modeling space is my computer desk), my butt's been on it so many times the cushioning is all but gone...

I use sort of a barstool type chair to sit on, metall frame with a Birch seat! I have my building area up a little higher on the wall so I can stand if I want. The key to ergonomics is movement. It is BAD news to sit (work, etc...) in one position for a long period of time...

Just picked up a new office type chair at "Office Depot" for $39.99 Adjustable height, swivel, and wheels for scooting across the floor of my newly built basement hobby room. My wife says my models had better start matching the oppulance of my surroundings (LOL).

:-) I have a nice office chair, my modelling bench is L shaped so I can move/swivel to the right place. My computer bench is back to back with the leg of my modelling bench, I have an executive type office chair for that. :-)

A real old nicely padded office chair on casters. One of the casters has a flat spot so it don't roll around like it used to, but it does keep me from falling off.

The back rest has been wired on to keep it in place, but the padding is still good. Still serves it's purpose well and I'm quite comfortable down in the Bunker for long periods of time.

I use my old drafting stool. I bought it while I still used a drafting table at work. It's tall but my workbench is made from old kitchen cabinets so the height is perfect for me. It has a padded bottom and back ( just like me ). I prefer my comforts.

I have a very nice office task chair with adjustable height, back support (lumbar), and arm support. Wheels to roll around all over the room.

I use a piece of junk office chair I've had for a while. It doubles as my computer desk chair. The thing is so worn it has my butt print on it (eewww! ). It's on plastic wheels but a couple of them are flat spotted so it doesn't roll so good. But it's MY chair and I don't plan on replacing it.
