What are you working on in the new year or going to be starting soon? Doing anything different, more less?

Iam working on:
AFV Club M35A1 Supply Truck
Academy's new Jeep, turning into a Gunjeep (scratchbuilt conv.)
AFV Club M35A1 and Hobby Fan GT conv.
Tamiya M60A2

Srating soon:
M35A1 Guntruck, The Mafia (scratchbuilt conv.)
M35A1 Guntruck, The Assassins (scratchbuilt. conv.)

Iam trying to keep the workbench a little cleaner while Iam building, and be more organized.

I am finishing up my Dragon BTR-80, in a NATO 3 color scheme of the Hungarian Army...Why the Hungarian Army? All the markings I had for countries that were in NATO and used the BTR-80 was Hungry and Poland.....just flipped a coin.

Next I am undecided.....I have it down to:
Tamiya Challenger Mk. I
Tamiya Challenger Mk. III
Tamiya Merkava Mk. I
Italeri 1/72 SH-60B Seahawk
Italeri 1/72 SU-27 Sea Flanker
Hasagawa 1/72 F-16A+

As I said.....I am undecided!!! I should probably do a Tamiya kit, as the hobby show coming up in April has a Tamiya only catagory.....winner gets a trip to Tamiyacon in California....not that I have a chance.....but I have 0 chance if I don't enter!!!

Just getting ready to place a Dragon M4A1 in the spray booth. I added Verlinden's T1E3 Mineroller conversion to this kit add must admit it looks good so far.
I'm also working on an M4 composite hull Sherman as either a Kangaroo in Canadian service or as a fascine carrier....haven't quite made up my mind yet but I'll just continue building until I stop and see what I end up with.
Sitting around and collecting dust is Tamiya's M4 with Verlinden's Dozer blade with Tank workshop's interior....lot's of extras....a real exercise in after-market parts.
And to complete my bench I have an M32 B3 T.R.V. based on some parts swapping in Italeri kits.

Future projects include S-Models Ram, Sexton and Staghound...all look like they need a little help.

Oh almost forgot...I also have a Tamiya M2A2 Bradley that I want to turn into a Linebacker version of the Bradley.

OK...not much of a conversion.....but hey.....find it in a kit out there!!!

I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so I can shoot paint in the garage.

I have a Tamiya 2 1/2-ton truck awaiting paint and a place in a dio ... about a dozen figures are being painted right now to go with this and a Dragon Wagon, a Tamiya M4A3 (stripped of pioneer tools, detailed, brewed up and loaded on the DW), a couple jeeps, etc.

My T26E3 is done, but I'm finishing the figures (mix of Tamiya and DML with Warriors heads) and the base.

My DML Sherman !C firefly is also awaiting a finished crew (Ultracast) and a finished base.

I have a Tamiya M4A3 105 mm howitzer tank about ready for paint. Like most of my Sherms built in the last couple years, this one has a Rubio barrel (very nice with a rifled barrel, I used the kit mantlet and scrapped the Rubio mantlet).

OK....I have a kitbashed M4A1 w/ 105mm How. of the Calgary Tanks Reg't awaiting figures to be painted and put in a diorama.
I have an Accurate Armour Staghound of the Manitoba Dragoons awaiting figures to be painted and put into a diorama.
On the bench is a Tamiya Jeep....the newer one......needs painting as well as the figures I have done for it and put into a diorama
Also on the bench awaiting a paint job is the Italeri DUKW...the figures and cargo they're unloading and put into a diorama.
For the pre 1900 figure contest I have the Andrea "French Imperial Guard Grenadier" 1812 built and mounted on a painting stand....I had to use an Airfix sword and bayonette as this was missing from the kit.

What's next? Maybe either the Academy Archilles or the AFV Club M-10.....not sure yet....then again.....maybe the Buffalo!!!

Well today I think it's Tamiya's Late Tiger.
Or maybe the Early tiger...or how about that Dragon Elefant OOB, or the Stug III A or G, or the Hetzer, or the pzkpfw 38 or the 35, or any of the other models I forgot about....but my wife constantly reminds me of!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just finished an M3 Stuart and am working on the dio base. I am working on a dio for my Jeep and M3A2 1/2 track I finished last year.
I have Tamiya Krupp-Protz 1/3 assembled, guess what - its headed to dio with the field kitchen. Field kitchen is next! I'm adding Tamiyas mounted germans so they are on the block and guess what the spring champaign will be here before we know it so Who Knows what that'll bring.
I also want an A/C on the bench too - lets see Thunderbolt, P38, P61, B17???? What'll be ????
Ohhh the problem we have to deal with!

Too many to count...
I'm a HUGE MADD (Modelers attention defecit disorder) sufferer...

Last couple of nights I've been working on Nitto SF3D suits. SAFS, Fireball SG (resin conversion, not the Wave injection kit), Raptor and Prowler. Also the Fleige space version of the gustav/heinrich/konrad and some work on the Fledermaus.

Last week it was the Tamiya T55, 100%built, 15% weathered and old DML SMT1989 and T80 w ERA (both painted and need weathering) A BMP1 with Kilver turret from SP designs has had bench time recently too.

AFV Club MRV/FSV M113 w Scorpion turret.. is built, but needs paint. Both Wiesels have also had progress made recently..

Before that 1/72 Italeri Bombcat and F15E, Hasegawa JSDF F15.. Su22MR needs paint, Mig 23,27 and 2x 29's including a UB..

the list goes on and on..

I'll have another weekend here where 3-4 kits will all get finished at about the same time, but it won't be this one..

Well I have some busy months waiting for me

I am giving a workshop at some hobby convention/exhibit in our village and I have to built some showmodels for that. For example A couple of same buildings to show the different stages till it`s finished. The same thing I have to do with trees. And I have to spray some vehicles so I can show how they be weathered.
Further I have a dio where a 1:72 spitfire is ramming a factory chimney. and that`s for 1/3 finished.
I have a stug 40 f waiting for a paintjob so I can finally place it in it`s dio together with 22 soldiers where I only have 16 of (still have to make the rest)
I`m working on a big arnhem scene with about 25 british parachutists And I already got two of them
And then of course my DSB contest dio for where I`m now doing a extensive modification of an Hanomag and that`s going to be a good dio too (if all works out the way I want it to work out)
So for the next couple of months I have to combine the list above with my work. Guess my parents won`t see me that aften anymore :-) :-) :-)

I'm working on a diorama of the superbowl! I just have 9368 figures of fans left to paint.
But this is the easy part. Getting my wife to let me build the quanset hut in the back yard to house the diorama was rough. (only kidding)
I've got projects sitting all over the model room but on the front burner is Tamiya's M3 halftrack, ready to be painted.
Happy modelling.

Fellow modelers and piglets.

Starting with the oldest and going in from there:
1. Vacuform Vomag 88mm FLAK truck, working on the base and weathering.
2. T-19 105mm Half track kitbash, model's done, base making time.
3. M4 Pacific Theatre Sherman, in the finishing stages.
4. 1/32 Stuka B model still in the paint shop.
5. Twin M-3 Honeys, 1 Academy, 1 Tamiya, being built together.
6. Demag D7 w/FLAK 36 Base making time.
7. Italeri Quad Fat 4, Tamiya 25 pounder, assorted Tommy types, base making time.
8.Scratchbuilt German FLAK ferry, big scene, big model, bigger pain in the ...!
9. Tiger I and German Cossack troop, make more horses and riders. Make base.

That sums up the current list, on the back burner waiting to come on line is:

1. Me Bf-110 G-2, Revell
2. Marder II, Alan
3. Sherman M4A3 Tamiya
4. Hanomags, Tamiya several, of the less expensive Tamiya kits to give it up for the great God of Kitbashing.

Damn, see what you made me do, now I gotta go back to work and get some of this stuff done. Oh well, a model pigs work is never done, now where'd I put that 55 gallon drum of Testors Liquid Cement?

Slodder, watch that aircraft stuff! It'll eat your mind, see what one Stuka has done to me, I'm but a shell of my former self.

Chuck, I knew all that jet exhaust would get to you, but no, you had to get a sun tan the quick way.

C Ya' guys, I really do have to go and find where I hid the Glue......

You know, every time this topic comes up I give the same answers.
That's probably not a good thing!

Halcyon Alien Warrior (still)
Tamiya 1/48 F4U Corsair (need some room to paint the thing!)
Ertl Trade Federation Tank (need some room to paint the thing!)
Tamiya Mader II (I glued a few pieces together, does that count as having started?)
Tamiya M1 Abrams (it's getting there)
Scratchbuilt speeder for the sci-fi campaign (I've made visible progress, that's good!)

Hmm. The list seems shorter than I remember. Maybe I'll start another kit to celebrate! #:-)

Still working on the Abrams, HEMTT, and figures but now I added a HMMWV to my projects... Maybe I should just cut to the chase and build them together as an M1A1977 w/ 105-25-12.7-7.62mm... #:-)

I also am still working on the DML/Tamiya Abrams for the student group build. I have the drivers compartment almost done and a lot of the hull interior done as well. I still have to do most of the turret, althought the floor and basket are almost done. I have opened the battery box and the left hand side skirts, both of which are almost done. Fortunately, I wasn't dumb enough to try the engine compartment at the same time, or I probably never will finish it. I am looking to be done about May.

After that I have a couple of Dragon Wagons I need to finish, both are 2/3rds done but got put on hold for the SGB.

Then if I finish that I have an Italeri Demag D7 w/ Flak 38 that I started while out in Utah and had nothing to do for two weeks. I also have a Tamiya 88mm I am superdetailing and a DML M4A4 that I think I will do OOB. I still have a Stug III and another DW beyond that.
