I´m finishing a Zvezda T-38. It´s my first attempt on water and ice, this amfibian tank is climbing from water. I used Woodland Scenics scale water and I will use candle wax for a thin ice layer. Let´s see how it works out.
Next will be probably Tamiya StuG III with Dragon detail tracks. It´ll be a Finnish "Sturmi" with zimmerit and logs hanging on the sides.
I hope to start a bigger project, a section of a winter road with four-five Russian tanks with Finnish ski troops attacking the caravan...
Or maybe I first need a bigger apartment..

Hey NimitzFan......how do you like that ICM BM-21 GRAD? I have the kit here that I got for cheap on Ebay(the GRAD and an Arsenal BRDM 1 w/interior for $15!!), but haven't tackled it yet. Any review I have seen online says its a beast to build.....but would like to know the opionion of someone that has actually built or is building it!!

The BM-21 and Ural truck have LOTS of parts. It went together good, but it had a lot of parts. One complaint I did have beside alot of parts was that they tried to cram them all into about 7 sprues. It made for too tight a fit ,and I could not get my sprue snippers in to cut. I had to use a #11 to get a lot of pieces off the sprue. Oh yeah, did I mention that there were a lot of parts.
Good luck,
Good luck,

Yeah I hear yah on the parts....250+ parts!!!
The only complaint I have read with any reviews I have seen is that under the hood there are 2 steering boxes near the radiator....(one on each side?) and its a tight fit for the 2 boxes and the radiator...and then when the hood goes on...it doesn't fit as well as it should becasue of the 2 boxes and radiator having such a tight fit!!
Having just gotten back into modelling after about a 10-15yr hiatus.....and have only just completed....(well soon!!!!) my first model back, (a Hungarian BTR-80 by Dragon), I think I will wait awhile before I tackle that!!!!

I wish I could stay out of work, along with insperation from Armorama and masses of time I'm finishing kits like a whirling dervish. Today alone I've completed 3. My P47 and Dewoitine D.520, that are on the Rivet Review Board, and a Spitfire XIV thats been waiting final details for months. I will finish a Spitfire Mk 22 in the next couple of days and a Heinkel He 111, both again waiting for months for final details. I'm loving it. I'm going to post pics on the RRB soon as lighting conditions allow. Thats another reason I'm churning them out, now I have a camera I just love taking pics and posting them, also I am trying to balance out the RRB, lots of armour, not enough aircraft lol. :-) Mal

i have 18 figures in 1/35th, in various stages of wreckage. they are for my "SS in London '46", 'what-if' diorama. all will be in winter or early spring uniforms. their will be Pea-pattern M-43 and M44, fall oakleaf and field grey. maybe a few dead Brits liberally scattered about.

I'm taking Italeri's Einheitskoffer Truck and kitbashing it with the maultier to make a "Maultier Ambulance". I saw an article about this vehicle in the German version of "Steelmasters" and it looked awesome. I have a Famo to build but I think the kit intimidates me. I want to build it ........but ..........maybe next year. I just finished the Tamiya Churchill. Maybe I'll do the Italeri Ostwind Flakpanzer or finish the (old Heller) SK Model Sahara diorama that I started about a year ago. I also just got the Tamiya ME 262 A2-a. I don't build many planes but this one is very cool! I have a couple of days off this week and it's snowing like crazy here......soooooooooo.......who knows what'll happen! Jeff keenan

Well, only on the weekends now because of heavy workloads:
I'm wrapping up three Gun Truck miniatures - another client build of Nancy, another client build of The Big Kahuna, and a new model of Sopwith Camel. And a new client's request to build him a model of "The Haunted Tank" from the comic book series. This one is gonna be fun - he wants the M3 Stuart first...
For my personal entertainment:
Finishing up gear and stowage for the M45 Pershing conversion I finished before moving last year. Finishing up construction details for my DUKW, Skybow M41A3 Walker BullDog, and Tamiya's T-55 - my first Soviet Tank. I also have Skybow's WC-51 and WC-62 on the side waiting for some paint.
Lastly, I've got a GMC CCKW 40mm Bofors AA Truck Conversion that I'm giving special treatment on too...

All kidding aside... I have the OLD tamiya brummbar that I hotknifed (SP?) the zimmerit into and a fairly decent M5 Stuart in the works. There are pictures of the stuart in the amorama gallery. Seriously, if anyone else is going to the regional in Indy, let me know. I've never been and I could use all the help I can get.

Gunnie,at least your client is asking for the M3 Stuart Haunted tank first That's the easy one If I remember right it had a "37mm special" It was a longer 37mm barrel with a muzzle brake The Hybrid Haunted Tank is gonna be fun I believe it was a panther hull,T34 road wheels and tracks,Pershing turret, and a 17lber gun I think the hull mg was a 20mm
Me I'm weathering a Tamiya Wespe Also just repainted a M4A3 76mm Sherman THe flat coat turned out shiny I guess the temp.was a wee bit too cold when I sprayed it

Yeah General Zod - I'm hoping that he'll eventually want the whole line of "Haunted Tanks" including that bizarre hybrid - I think that would be a fun series of projects to complete. I'd actually build it with the interior components just to try and pull it off...

Well, not that anyone cares but, as I have posted in the Rivet Review Forum, I am doing a Panzer 1 A with Aber PE and a Panzer III L with interior and Aber PE. I am also working on a dio and a base for the panzer 1.
