Right now am finishing an Academy Early Tiger I (with interior). I'm complementing this with DML's "Panzer Aces" figures and heavy weathering in preparation for a great diorama. Next in line will be a Production Turret Tamiya King Tiger (motorized). Others in line are Tamiya's T34/85 Russian Tank, Hanomag 251/1, an M5A1, M4A3 Sherman 105mm Howitzer, DML's "Greif", Academy's M18 Hellcat and M3A1 Stuart "Honey". Modeling in General

Well actually I put my previous kits in this post on hold and I am doing a very simple "What If" Project.
Actually it was the What If website that inspired me. http://kithobbyist.com/whatif/
They are having a Canadian contest.....so I decided to take my 1/72 Hasagawa F-20 Tigershark, and turn it into a CF-200A Tigershark, meant to replace the aging CF-101 Voodoos, the CF-104 Starfigters and to eventually replace the CF-5 Freedom Fighters....and would carry Canada into the new Millenium until the F-22 Raptor and F-35 were in service...lol.....I can dream can't I?
I plan to cheat and build it with wheels up, with a rod through the burner can to make it look like it is in flight....(my fingers are just too damn big to play with landing gear that small...lol), not sure on the base as of yet.....thinking a wood plaque with a Canadian Maple Leaf on it.
The bird will be armed for air superiority/patrol, with 2 Sparrows and 4 Sidewinders, as well as a centerline tank.
Pictures to follow when it is finished!!
