If anyone can explain to me how to make one I think I can do it. What program or programs do you use? Can any image site host them or are banners special? Will photobucket work?

Thanks,

Adobe Photoshop is one of the more popular programs to use. The other option is to download JASC's Paintshop Pro. Its not as powerful as Adobe but it gets the job done.

The easiest is to create a new white canvas based on the dimensions specified on armorama and re-use photos or graphics that you can find on the web. Bear in mind the respective copyrights of course.

Once done, upload the banner onto a hosting server and link back to the server through your personal account. I do recall Jim mentioning not to upload the banners into the image gallery and link back to it as it sucks the servers monthly bandwidth which directly impacts his side pockets.

To those who want banners, may I suggest that you post your ideas about the banner. You'll never know someone might have spare time to them for you.

Armorama MSN hosts banners as well as photobucket.

You can copy one of the banners here (you can copy mine) and use it as template. BTW, follow also the tips of Jazza.

Cheers
