Around 15, a good deal of them DML figures, but a lot of planes, which I don't build anymore. I don't think I have a big problem... yet. That could change when I get an income.

Hi

Mmmm yes the collection currently it comprises of the following:

37 Armour/vehicle kits to build
24 figure/minor vehicle kits to build
1 U Boat Submarine to build
8 car kits to build ( Chevrolets)

I worked out at my very slow rate of construction enough to keep me busy for the next 8 to 10 years.

I am not actively adding to the collection however if a great kit comes along at a great price then I will consider "investing".

I really like everyone of the kits and I am so lucky when I go to choose the next one to build I am spoilt for choice.

Hell I dont defend my hobby but I know compared to my other hobbies building hot rods and drag racing this is real cheap fun.

Regards

Sean

I have about 350 or so, possibly more. They pretty much cover all the spectrums. Although I have a lot of Airplanes and I havent even built one yet. I usually just build armor. I would also say I have about 60 Photo etch sets and a couple doven sets of tracks by various companies. I am planning on selling a lot of them this summer when i get back home, and sending some to the Boys is Need in the armpit of the world.

500+ I stopped counting at 500. I have 150+ kits of 1/35 (plastic not resin) figures and accessories.

Oddly enough I never have the kit I want to build next. At the moment it’s a Spitfire Mk.1 in 1/48, never mind the Vb, Vc, IX, 21/22 that are in my stash. :-)

Things I have no resistance to buying are Engineering vehicles and Self-propelled AA, AT, G & H vehicles, I have well over 100 of these and still going strong.

I have approximately:

39 AFV's - mostly German
2 AFV's "in progress"
20 figure kits
plus 2 AFV's on order

I also have several buildings, AM accessory kits, etc. Although this is more than I'll ever complete before I die, I'm sure the count will be much higher by this time next year.

2-300, 2-3000! You guys are all crazy! I couldn't fit that many in my house & garden together, plus the wife & kids would have to move out (yeah right, I can just see that!)! Doesn't even seem to be just Americans either, there's some hoarders this side of the pond as well. I have to be content with what I'm building ATM, I admit there are about a dozen need final completion, plus I just put a figure on a base for my Dads birthday. Frankly, I wouldn't want any more just yet, I think I'd get a complex (with 3000 in the stash I'd be in therapy)!

158...geez I didn't realize just how many I had till I just now counted! Mind you that's armour, air, and a dozen or so old car and truck kits..and 5 snap kits for the boy. Oops, I have three more on the way...current count next week will be 161.{provided more don't come my way...it could happen} :-)

edit]...there's afew more old altered wheelbase drag cars behind the front kits I have{I know it!}, but if I pull them all out to count them I KNOW I'll want to expand that part of the collection as well...I'm going to just put it out of my mind now and walk away......no...that way!...no, the other left towards the stairs.....

I have about 5 tanks, 5-6 airplanes, 2 helicopters and a car in my closet -and already feeling uneasy...
Although it's easy to get carried away. If I could afford it, I'd by an IS here, a T-34/85 there, and so on and so on. Especially with these kits from Dragon and Trumpeter... I guess there's some good in being a student and not having money at all

How many in the STASH? Lemme see........If I build one a month and don't buy any more, I've got enough to last 25 years . As I turn 64 this month, it looks like SWMBO will have a heck of a yard sale after they feed me to the furnace!!!!
