I have finished the Steyr Tractor, bushed the h-19 to the back of the shelf and opened a 3.7Cm Antitank gun for the Steyr to tow. But I DiD finish the Steyr, so I don't feel too guilty.

Chappy,
Where do you get your zimmer-rite, local hobby shop or online?

I bought it at a hobbyshop in cleveland (Depot train & hobby), I think it was like $10 and there is enough to do about 4 or 5 tanks...here is their URL: Depot Train and Hobby

Working on an LVTR7. Have the crane and most fittings finished, just some minor stuff and paint left before AMPS.

Allow me to welcome you to the best armour site on the web TJ! Glad to hear you've got something planned for AMPS. Would love to see it, but not sure if I'm going to be able to go. Wish I could though, just not enough time

Tread.

P.S. Good luck with your entry!

Thanx for the welcome Treadhead. After I get my LVTR7 painted up, if it looks good, I'll post a couple of pictures. The way this site is growing, you'll have to have ARMORAMA nametags for guys going to AMPS next year - the way M-L is doing.

Actually, with any luck TJ, whoever of us goes to AMPS might have personalized golf shirts instead of name tags....hopefully (fingers crossed).

P.S. Try to post your pics anyway. Believe me, you'll find the most humble, and supportive bunch 'O guys here, then you'll find anywhere.

I'm currently working on a Academy Warrior IFV that just got paint last night (going to be done as a KFOR Warrior) and Laffetye Poole's "In the Mood" M4A1(76) Sherman thats painted and waiting for some of Achers dry transfers to show up in Mail so I can countine the weathering process on it. I got a Italeri Crusader mk3 almost done but I have to redo the turret track brackets on it, not sure If I'll have it done for AMPS or not.

Wow, this thread's been revived after nearly 7 months of dormancy....
...and I haven't finished either of my models mentioned in my previous post...

Now, I'm finishing painting on my 1/48th Tamiya Corsair. (looks like I'll meet the deadline after all! :-) ) I'm also detailing a Trade Federation Tank as one captured and refitted by pirates. (Arrrrr, matey!)

1. Braille Scale (1/72) Revell Tiger I Ausf H. Zimmerit anyone?
2. 1/72 Academy F104-G. The kit is not very good so it will become my testbed for aluminum foiling.

Working on the AFV Club M-10. Using the Eduard set for some P/E and the Verlinden stowage to give it that lived in look. Been slowly working on the interior, but I'm getting tired of it, probably because I have the new Tamiya Marder III M on the shelf that looks like it will build to be a real jewel.... patience....patience.

I'm about a 1/4 way done with a 1/9th scale German Stug Commander by Sol. It's pretty much the guy from the waist up in a cupola which is provided. I've got much of the main torso painted (hey how hard is it to paint a uni all one color - reed green) and the details painted. Working on Collar tabs and shoulder boards now. Expect another month on this guy 'till he's done.... Nice kit. Then I think I'll build Nemrods 120MM WWI Marine with trench shotgun (with bayonet attached to it) or Michael Roberts Ltd. 120MM American Civil War Berdan Sharpshooter....

I have finished up Tamiyas M3A2 Half Track and all the figures. I am working on a couple of figures, one testors and one VP. Once they are done then I will begin work on the ground works for a dio with the figures the half track a jeep and a country road check point.
I've got an M3 by Tamiya in 'paint' mode. Got the base coat on and am working on some seams.
I've got Tamiya's Krupp Protz under construction too.

OK, had to throw in on this one........

Right now, the bench is full of the finishing touches for a M-36B2. This is an old conversion of misc pieces, MB hull (yes, I know there are betters, but....), left-over Academy pieces and scratch detail here and there.

The SU-85 is in need of a handle redo before paint (AMPS-03 subject, so I ahve time). The T-34/85 (also AMPS) is waiting for priming.

Egytian IS-IIIM is waiting on the long teadious Fruili track program.

Jezz, I need some cold weather.

If anyone has read my posts in other forums, it's the same project. I'm building a diorama depicting the morning of 9/11 when two F-15s scrambled out of Otis ANG Base, Mass. attempting to intercept the airliners. The diorama is of the flight leader's plane with him running out to it while other crews work to pull pins and get it ready.
