Just out of curiosity I wondered what everyone's ringtone on thier Cell Phone was and if they downloaded it?

Hi, I'm most likely the 'odd man out here' in that I don't have a cell phone. Have enough trouble with the house phone and since I'm retired I don't need anybody calling me whenever I'm away from the house.
Even most of the time that I'm here at home I let the answering machine get the message, and if it's somebody I don't mind talking too I'll either pick up the phone or call them back later, maybe.

Unless it's for an emergency I look at the phone as one step above that electronic idiot box in the front room. Pretty much wasted space that I have to pay something for cause I can't talk the wife into getting rid of it.

Mine is Ride of the Valkyries or the Apocolypse Now helicopter attack song. It was actually one of the default tones with mmy phone. However I mostly have my cell on vibrate so it doesn't interrupt my meetings

I don't even know the name of the ring tone, it was one of the choices pre-loaded on the phone. I'm far too cheap to pay for a tone when I can have one for free.

On the same topic what's your banner? Mine is "Halfyank's Cell." It used to be Tanks Rule but I liked the new one better.

My ringtone as well as my SMS tone is scratchbuilt :-) . Its the recorded voice of my daughter. Ringtone is laughing daughter and the SMS is a phrase saying "Bahala ka sa buhay mo" loosely translated in in english as "What you do with your life is your business" :-) ...

Mine is Song 2 by Blur --- remember them?? :-)

No banner activated, but screen saver on the mobile is the time... that way I can always see the time drag by during meetings without continually checking my wristwatch...

No idea what it's called, just one of the default tones that came with the phone. It's on ring & vibrate 'cos most places out in the open are too loud to rely on the tone alone!
As I don't actually listen to the tone, why download anything else - it rings, I answer, job done!

Calls- Sonar pinging noise
Messages- Christopher Lee's famoushorror movie laugh moowhahahaahahahahaha....

mine was out of the box ring tone! dont have state of the art cell phone... but i have composed a few metallica melodies using the compose features...

Way to go.. but will the phone play them LOUD enough??

Before I had some Filipino songs on my mobile. Then I changed it to Soviet Anthem (in English), then back to the original tone.

I remember before I had "Fire in the hole" and "GRENADE!" ringtone, extracted from Medal of Honor Allied Assault. It's quite loud and fools a lot of people around me :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Mine's the same as Henk, Sonar, Pingggg pongggg
