Being diabetic myself, I know the story. Good luck old chap. A little extra attention to diets, etc and itŽll be no problem. Hopefully weŽll see you soon, back with more amazing dio works!

My god

It must be the week of bad news...

My thoughts are with Kevin and may he come out of the hospital as soon as possible and in good health of course.

Hi Mary

Sorry - I spotted this very late. My thoughts are with you and Kevin at this difficult time - but he couldn't ask for anyone better than you to look after him.

There's an extra batch of good vibes heading your way across The Pond.

Take care, both of you

Just an update to let you know whats going on with Kevin. He is still in the hospital at present. After what seemed good news with the blood sugars dropping into the upper 100's last nite..This am when he was checked it had shot back up to over 500. Of course he was given insulin which did bring it down to 416, but a couple of hours later it was once again back up to 550. Although they are giving him insulin injections, his sugars just don't seem to be leveling out as the doctor wants it to....soo..maybe another day or so in the hospital. We shall see.

To Kevin- Best wishes for a speedy recovery and a healthy future!

Wow...it's been a "heavy" night tonight on the Armorama forums...Kevin, Silantro's son, the Egypt bombing...and I am really moved and my faith in man is bouyed by the people here. This is an amazing community! We come from the far corners of Earth, we come from many religions, ethnicities (sp?), religions, beliefs and nations...but we still care about the INDIVIDUAL! Pretty cool!!

Sorry for the plate of mushy, sentimentalism...but this is a unique place.

Hey Mary I tried to call you guys (your cell phone) I didn't want to bother Kevin if he wasn't up for it. I hope he is doing better. Let me know how things are going and tell Kevin he can give me a call if hes up to it. Tell him he has to get better before September for our trip. I'm counting on a good trip I could use one. As always, my love and prayers are with you guys. Wendy too. Love you both we are thinking of you guys. If you need anything let me know I can always shoot over there for an afternoon.

Hi Everyone. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. It really means a lot to Mary and I. Its people like you that make this site really great.
I was allowed to come home this morning at around 7:30. They are still working with me on my dosage but the doc felt it was ok to come home. At least now I can do some modeling again instead of just sitting around :-) Again thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
Zaidi, I am so sorry to hear about your son. Your son and your family have my thoughts and prayers as well. I hope he gets better soon. Kevin
