No food for me while modeling. Drinking is also very scarce. Perhaps the fact that once I picked up wrong cup of water and drank it has something to do with that. Luckily I was working with acrylics at the time.

I prefer a TV in the background as opposed to music. Nothing gets me in the right mood (modeling mood that is) like a good war movie.

I don't eat while modeling because I don't want any food residue to get onto the work. I will however nurse a beer ( no chance of mistaking a jar of thinner for a Leinie's long neck ) or my usual Diet Coke. If I am working at the kitchen table or my garage work bench I listen to WAPL or put in Zeppelin, Clapton, Clash, Rush and select random play. Or I might go with Stanley Brothers, Oh Brother Where out Though soundtrack, Hank Williams etc. If I am at my basement work bench, I don't have a radio so I put a tape in the old VHS. Gives me a reason to hang on to those old tapes.

Angela -
I don't like to eat while modeling. I find that the Cheetos orange doesn't work into any of the camo scenes. Need the fluids though, but to stay away from too many Pepsis or Mike's Hard Lemonade, I've been into the "Crystal Light" to cut down the calories, etc.

Music is good, though I tend to prefer "instrumentals" so soundtracks are my favorite. Nothing like working on a M4 Sherman while listening to "Patton" soundtrack. A good "war flick" is another way to put some background noise or a ball game. I do have a selection of "Pipes and Drums" and Military bands that work to get the spirit moving. To each his own,

My God....Batman......
We must be careful around the workbench, nothing like a good old fashion glob of chicken wing grease on you model, then all the panic posts about the problems with the paint/airbrush/model.
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
We also need to excecise caution with all the health hazards of our chemist experiments into mixing so many different chemicals to get that perfect finish (under the chicken and burrettos grease)
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Here's my latest members photo.... I use to look like Tom Cruise..... I really need to get a resperator...... and purple gloves.
