Dear Costas
As a recepient of your generosity I am extemely shocked and upset at your loss.
Words are not enough in your moment of extreme loss.

Dear Costas,
Like everybody else I am sorry to hear about your lose. I am glad to hear that nobody was hurt in the fire as well. Don't give up, it may take time, but we are all here to help!
Best Wishes,
Sean

My dear Friends.
Is really difficult to say what i really want to say .
After seeing over 1000 people looking at this post and so many responded, i feel more than ever to be a proud member of this VERY STRONG FAMILY.
Generosity and kindness are just words that cannot describe what all these posts and help offers mean to me.
As for the most of us in here, modelling is an escape lil door for every days thousands problems. So it was for me . And with your help IT WILL BE AGAIN SOON.
Now i am sure and confident (not that i wasnt before) that Armorama family is unbelievably tight and caring.
As i wrote in the initial post, i thought of quitting the Hobby , but never of quitting Armorama, thinkin that my experience and knowledge and ideas , would at least lived through other friends models.
Approaching one year of existence here as a member of Armorama, the only thing that i can say is that beein a member here is one of the best things that ever happened to me, iam very very proud, and be sure that , as i did till now , i ll be the first one to assist anyone that would need even the smallets help.
To let u know last evening i started cleaning the space and bringin down the rest of the roof. I am decided to invest my personal time for as long will be needed , to bring that alive . Also some good friends here have offered me their personal work to help make some of the restorations needed. So sun and hope are present and i promiss that I WILL BE BACk SOON.
Know that the first smile on my face was last morning after your first sympathy posts, and i ll never forget this
only one thing i can say
a
HUGE THANK U MY FRIENDS

Costas,
It is indeed really sad to hear what happened to you but luckily nobody got hurt (physically). There's no doubt whether you will return to this hobby, just take time to deal with this disaster and then, in no time, you will be back building great things.
wish you all the best

To All:
I'm 53 years old, retired from various military and law enforcement agencies. Now I try to model.
I've never been prouder of humankind than I am today to see the reach-out to Costas from all corners of this site.
I've always enjoyed his posts but today's was a shocker. His hobby place burned up.
Within twenty-four hours, there were EIGHT pages of condolence and offer.
53 years, lived all over the world; I've never seen anything like it.
Bless your hearts. All of you.

Costas, I'm totally shocked at your loss, but very pleased that a friend and his family were not, physically hurt. I cannot imagine what I would do if anything like this happened to me. Having read all the posts and your replies, It seems like you will come through this. I hope that you will be able to treat it as an oppertunity for a new start and bounce back, better than ever.

As a recent new member to Armorama, I'm "blown away" by the quality and quantity to sympathy that has been expressed by this incredible "modeling family". I know I've come to the right place. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Glad to hear you plan to stick with it and only wish that we all could be there to help put it back together with you. The offers have been many and I'd like to put mine in also. After getting back into the hobby and cleaning out the gargage to find those packing boxes of modeling stuff, I've rediscovered all kinds of goodies of which many will just remain in the boxes. Let's give them another chance. I've got planes, ships, figures, supplies, and reference stuff on all (alot of the Squadron "In Action" booklets, etc.) that is screaming to be sent to Greece. Let me know what your interests/desires are, send me an address, and I'll be more than honoerd to contribute. Hang in there, help is on the way,

Costas, I am at a loss for words. I think we should put together a "Money/Kit Donation for Major Goose". After all, you've done so much for this site, I think we should pool everything together and help you get back on your feet. You know how things are: What you put in is what you get out. So, if we put a monetary/kit value on what you've done for the site, I think that would do, oh say, 70,000 EURO, minimum. Best of wishes to you and your family.

Hi Costas,
I've heard off your loss via my wife, as you know I'm on a seven week course. I'm very sorry to hear what happened to you, and I'd wish I could say something to make you feel better, but words fail me...
It's good to see the help you're receiving from all the corners of this planet, and I would, offcourse, join all off them, so: DUTCH AIRFORCE IS ON IT'S WAY!!!
It's not something like the Thunderbirds, but hey....Who cares?
A "Modeling first aid kit" will be sent in a matter of days!
All the best from your friends, John and Anita.
