Here I go:
The inicial date was 15th of May.It was postponed because Hitler wanted to intervene against an anti-German overthrow in Yugoslavia.

Hehe!I remember reading about that in a book, so I checked out and there it was!
Do you want a brain buster?? :-) :
Before D-day, germans intercepted allied comunications, refering to survival on snow, asking about skis and weather equipment. What was the reason for all this questions and what was the name of the operation?

Could it be "Operation Dunton" a cover and deception plan to misslead the Germans into thinking the Allies were going to invade someplace other than France?

I feel kind of guilty, getting in on a pass, so I'll try an easy one. Most navys had ways of designating the main gun turrets on big ships. For example the Germans called the first two turrets forward Anton and Bruno. What letter did the British Royal Navy call the center turret on five turret ships, like the WWI battleships of the Centurion class?

Tough question. I believe the stern turret was referred to as "X" and if the bow turret was "A" then let's guess "M"?????

You guess makes perfect sense Frag, but it's wrong. Yes the forward turret was A but the aft turret was Y, not Z as you'd think. I don't know why, does anybody? So we have A and B forward, X and Y aft, but no M isn't the center one.

Ok, the answer is Q turret, don't ask me why. The most famous case of this was in WWI the British battlecruiser HMS Lion got hit in Q turret. The ship was threatened with destruction until the turret commander order the turret flooded. It meant his own death along with all his men but it saved the ship.
Ok, here's the next one. What was the 1st ATF in WWII?

I may be realy ignorant here, but ATF means what exactly? Sorry but as someone who learned to write in school with a pen, and who is only a recent convert to the internet, I do sometimes wonder if people are using an acronime or if it's just their spelling or typing speed errors. I know about the speed errors as I make plenty myself
:-) . I do like this link by the way, some really good questions.

Sorry guys, I should have put it better. It's 1st A.T.F. and military unit, not a abbreviation of a weapon or anything.

Yes, it was the First Airborne Tast Force. Prior to landing in southern France it was found that there wasn't any division size airborne unit available to support the landing. So various units were combined into the 1st ATF, including the FSSF, First Special Service Force, the "Devil's Brigade", as well as American and British parachute units.
