I have to agree that the guy who built the Tron outfit, while talented to some degree is more than a little creepy, .

at least you'd see him creeping up behind you :-) :-) :-) not a case of I know what you did last summer but more like I know what you ate last summer

Well, we all have our hobbies. Obviously, not all of them are what we might call "mainstream". :-)

Two things:
1. Those last pictures look like he's in a hotel room.
2. How do you stab out your mind's eye?
Thanks for your time.

I actually feel kinda bad for the guy. I wish I could meet him on the street someday walking with some hot blonde in low rise jeans and a tight shirt, you guys know the college type girls.

That would be ultimately cool.

Although I can see the funny side of this and considering the non-flattering attire, I must say fair-play to the guy.
I must also point out that I have just whispered a small prayer of thanks, that I have no interest in Tron or have ever have had the urge to dress in this fashion.

No matter how silly this looks to those "who are not in the know", if you are interested in something, why worry about what others think?

I wonder if there was an armored cod-piece in the prottype uniform! :-) :-) :-)

LOL, I can't find it now, but there is a dude on the net dressing up as Peter Pan, that's even sadder.

O.K.
I have to say that by no means did I drop $2,000.00 dollars on Faire attire in one shot. I have worked at Bristol Renaissance Faire (BRF) for the last ten years as a Merchant of "pretty rocks" for 3 years and as a leather worker for 7. I attended BRF as a patron for 4 years before that. The most expensive part of the whole deal was a pair of Bald Mountain Moccasins at just under $900.00. (Before you ask, yes they are worth it!)
I have never attended an SCA event due to the time involved in work and faire obligations, and the fact that there's not a chapter near enough to me to make it worth it.
Armored codpieces...they exist, nuff said.
Role playing did contribute to my love of renaissance faires, in fact I still play every Thursday night.
Here's another "fun" picture from my collection.

I'm the 200+ pound bald guy on the right. Incidentally, the guy with the red and black outfit and the porkchop sideburns is Armorama member "Staypuft", my buddy Phil.
And yes, that's Guiness in those mugs!

Ola People

After seeing murphys posts of being the Medieval guy I can`t stay behind. Couple of weeks ago I had a 70`s 80`s and 90`s party and of course you can anticipate everybody is wearing these really wrong disco outfits. I wanted to do something else and I ended up like this
Yeah it`s Vyvian the punker from the young ones.

Ok having showed my Abilities to Disguise myself to a person absolutely not known by anyone I want to show you my latest Creation. I call it scratchbuilding the Extreme part 2
Meet Roberto Escoblokker the Drugs boss and Don of Dirkshorn ( the picturesque village I live in)

I`m the one on the left. So here is a nice example again of my terrific (ahem) disguise skills. This party where I was was a Carribean night. coming from the Antilles in the carribean...... Carribean is always connected to drugs.

Fun to know is that with both the Disguises I won first price at the parties.

Greetz the great unknown guy
