I know it's a long way off, so's Christmas, but we all know how time flies. I had hoped to meet some of you guys at Telford last year, but for verious reasons I failed. So, I thought if I make more of an effort this year and plan it, rather than trusting to luck, I might actually get to meet some more of you :-) Of course I will understand if you don't want to meet, but for those that do lets have a think about it. Post here if you plan on going (if not why not) then we will sort out the broblems of actually meeting up

Hi Mal
What are the dates?
I couldn't make it along last year but it would be great if we could all meet up!
All the best

Hi Mal...
when is Telford exactly?
If I'm home ......in the new year....I'll try to make it.
As it looks like I'll be home permanently in early 2005, if I 'm out of sinq with this Telford, I'll definitely go for the next one.
Cheers
Peter

Sorry, I've not been keeping an eye on this. Yes, as Luciano says the dates are the 20/21st November (the 20th is my wedding aniversary, but I will forget it this year and be at Telford

)
My big plan is to form an IPMS Armorama branch :-) and therfore be able to have a branch table at Telford. This would then become the obvious meeting place. One of the things that has put me off getting on and just doing it is that I envisage myself stuck at a table and not getting to buy any goodies. So to this end I just want to meet as many of you as possible to gauge the feelings for this idea.
Luciano, what branch are you with? An idea for meeting, this year, would be to all wear a home made badge, there's a design out there, which I can post here, then have a focal point. Luciano's branch stand might be the place? Or any other branch stand, if any of you are members of others?
Davy, I wont be there on Sunday, but have a good time.

OK Luciano, I'll look out for you.
The answer to meeting might just be to see if we can have an anouncment?

I'll be there at Telford for the whole weekend with the IPMS Armour SIG - if anyone wants to drop by and say hello they will be very welcome.
If you'd like to loan a model for the show let me know - I can't promise instant fame and fortune, but it is interesting to listen to people talking about one of your models - especially if they don't know you are the author :-)
If you loan me a model I'll even let you use the SIG stand as a base, how about that for a bribe..?

Sorry to hear that Ian - especially as I owe you for all the superb material you've sent me for the website - I'll have to offer you something in plastic rather than in a glass

Hi there
I'd love to catch up with you all at Telford, but it's not looking very likely.
There's no way I can take the whole weekend off, and the train service makes it impossible to get there and back in a day (if you include actually visiting the show!).

It's enough to make me want to buy a motorbike again... Oh NO!! Mid-life CRISIS!!
Have a great time

Heck, feel free to drop by the White Ensign Models stand and say hello so that we can start to put faces with names. You'll find us all in period uniform: Dave in one of his Royal Army guises, Caroline in her USN WAVE uniform (outranking me, of course!), me in my USN Shore Patrol garb (suitably armed, of course), Frankie Green likely in her ATA uniform (but probably lacking her parachute), and our chief designer, Peter Hall, in his RN uniform. We're always good for a laugh. Heck, you don't have to be a ship modeller--we've got all these nice aircraft and armor paints....

Hi Dave , If you think it is a long way from the South Coast , then think on this at last years show we had 17 different nationalities , the furthest was from Brasil and Australia , two years ago we had a chap from Russia . Our regulars from abroad come from all the usual contintental countries reguars include Sweden , Denmark , Holland , Belgium , France , Germany , Czeck republic, Norway , Malta, Swiss, South Africa, America and Canada but we are expecting new ones this year from Hungary , Poland . It is truely International and the most friendliest show and largest in the world. As we say Miss it - Miss out cheers ian

This is beginning to look good, several places with members and contacts at them. Just need to plan some way us being in one place at the same time.

I'll certainly be dropping by to say Hi, John.
Your right Ian, it certainly is international.

Hi there
Design a logo? We Armorama Brits have already got one!

I'd love to be there resplendent in my Bulldog sweatshirt - I even washed it!

, but the way work's starting to pile in (it's the Silly Season for video editors) even my remote hope of making it to the show is looking impossible.
Have a great time... and come back with some pics for the rest of us!
Rowan
