My name is Jerry. I'm new, but I've been building most of my life. I'm just trying to become computer literate. What better way than to include it with my hobby. I'm getting ready to retire from the USAF after 32 years. I build mostly 1/35 scale modern armor and dioramas. I'm a member of IPMS/SLS in Salt Lake City , Utah. I'm currently working on two dioramas. One from Desert Storm and a Viet Nam one, of course like most builders I have 4 or 5 other projects at various stages, and stacks of kits in the waiting.

Welcome aboard Warlock a.k.a. Jerry! We're glad you found us. What better place to learn about that bloody PC while learnig about the rest of the world's modeling addictions?!
Before long you'll be cranking away at the keyboard with the rest of us.
Oh, and I could not help but notice that you, an Air Force man building armor! I love it!

WELCOM, Warlock. You will find that the guys here at Armorama some some of the most well-informed modelers on the face of the planet. Especially the Guru of the Guntruck, Gunnie and the Maestro of the Motor Pool, Sabot. These 2 guys are my hero's. And of course there are plenty of other members that contribute their expertise. So, welcome and model on.

Hi, I'm still figuring out this computer thing. I posted more pictures and added comments. The Vietnam dio is loosely based on a real tank from Ralph Zumbro's book "Tank Sergeant."Welcome to Armorama Jerry. We are all glad to see that you joined us here at the best site on the web. I like the Vietnam Dio. What area does it portray?![]()
