Fellow Oinkaloids:

The collective intellects of the the "DSB Butt and Snout "Pickers" Council" ie “jrnelson” a.k.a. Lord Jeff, “pnzr-cmdr” a.k.a. Lord John, “generalzod” a.k.a. Lord Chaddus, and “WeWillHold” a.k.a. Lord (we can’t say it here because this is a family site), offer you the following modeling opportunity.

The first ever “Pig in a Pile” Campaign. We are asking any pigs willing to participate to post a listing of their unbuilt kits from their unbuilt "Pile” here in the DSB forum. Once posted, other pigs will vote on the kit they want you to build from your list--- based on the outcome of that vote -- you must build that kit or be subjected to the wrath of Helga!

This is a great opportunity for all of us to build that kit that might never get built, plus nobody has to buy anything new to participate in the Campaign.

Here’s how it will work:

 In the DSB forum, each Pig start’s their own thread. Title the thread “Your Armorama name” Pile List”- for example—“TankCarl’s Pile List”
 After posting your unbuilt kit list, other Pigs can come into your thread to post replies, “voting” on which kit they want you to build.
 Tallies of the “votes” will decide which kit you must build.
 Building starts Saturday March 20th, the first day of spring (when all serious Pigs starting rutting)
 Any and all models qualify, (please keep all figs fully clothed) hehe
 End date is Monday June 21st, the first day of summer, (when all serious pigs starting working on their “tans” hehe)
 In the spirit of friendship, a special dispensation has been authorized by the World Pork Council to allow “Wolves” to participate in the Campaign.
 Your Pig number, OR, the initials “DSB”, must be placed on the models/figs/dio/whatever is modeled. For example if SS-74 built a wingy thingy, either the #2, or DSB, would have to appear on his plane or somewhere in the dio etc.

That’s about it. Those wanting to participate can start posting their unbuilt kit lists in their own DSB forum thread now.

Hi,

Do you really want me to post my several hundred kits? I have many doubles, etc, that will shorten the list slightly. #:-)

Hi there

I really love this idea and it's really neat that you extended the invite to the Wolves. :-)

I'm a stranger to the DSB, so thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.

All the best
