I've been writing a piece of software for the last month or so and about 1/2 way through realized - this might be useful to others.
I've got a Visual Basic/Access database application that will help keep track of kits and references.
Here's a link to some screen shots

If it looks of interest to you PM me we can work out details to get you a copy.

Scott,
good to know. If you need beta testers I'd be more than glad to do it .I was just about to get my hobby related things more organized so I was going to work on something you've done, but if somebody just did it why don't use it?
Ciao

Looks good, Scott. I was just getting ready to start on something like this. Now I don't have to.

Scott, your program looks very interesting, and certainly useful. Just to mention this, there was a previous posting by Sabot concerning an Access based database program about a year ago. I don't know if you saw it, or if it was useful or not to you, but here is the link to the thread where it was discussed. It is free, and very versatile, if you are familiar with Access.

Is there going to be anyway that one can view what other people have? That would make trading alot eaiser too, if one could exchange inventory lists-- just a thought though.

I'm more than eager to help. I have a lot of experience using Access, so I can help debug if you need.

LOL! He may regret telling us about it when he gets a look at the list I just sent him. Programmers make the worst beta testers. We know right where to go to break it.
