When I first joined, I didn't realise the HOLY significance of all things Piggish... (oh, ignorant me...) so, to avoid further confusion, I've changed my call-sign from "Porky" to:

Hi Vlady and Dave :-)

Fear not... I'll always be Porky at heart!! :-) :-) I've used it as my nickname in computer games for years, so I'm rather sad to give it up in Armorama

There were two reasons:

1. People assumed I was a member of the Pigs... it was only after I joined up that I spotted the whole Pig thing. After Holdfast invited me to join the Wolves, it seemed a bit unfair to mislead folks.

2. I accidentally answered some messages intended for Porkchop - who some people call... you've guessed it - "Porky"!!

Just goes to show I should have checked things out a bit more carefully before diving in... :-)

So, yeah!! I'll always be Porky, whatever my screen name :-) - that's why I've kept it in my signature line

Oh, so that's why you changed your name. I wondered if maybe you had lost weight.

Well I can't claim to be skinny any more ... but I bought my Armorama T-Shirt as a Large, and there's room for me to run around inside... :-)
