Sorry, mine is the kitchen table: has to be cleared up at the end of every session. Can't wait for one of the kids to move out ;-)

Matt, what's the paint pressure pot for?...vacuum chamber?
Sorry for the late reply Bob. That particular pot is for pressure casting parts. I have another one set up as a vacum chamber for degassing molds. I need to build a bigger one though. I have some stuff in the works that won't fit in my current set up.
Thanks for the kudis on the room guys. It only took my 20 plus years to get it. While the space is nice..it's a royal PIA to clean at times. I love my winodws..gives me an escape route if the estrogen levels in the house exceed my carrying capacity.
Thanks, "Q"

Nice Jason. What did you make your vac chamber out of? Looks like some type of pipe fitting/coupling. I need something that size...

All to clean really.
Here is a work area.
Notice the over used paper towels I do not know why as I have 6 rolls up here.

When I cannot push the tray back far enough time to put some of the paint back.

C'mon mate, don't be shy - where's the rest of it ?
Having FINALLY figuredout how to upload photos, herewith some photos of my little domain. It consists of one corner and one wall of the garage - if we can ever persuade two sons to move out I might get a room for my modelling and the poor car can move back in!

Hi mates , here we go , not much happening here . Working away then four days off and we're busy with renovations , then the spiders moved in .

Hope to get some paint on the SAFS before I go back to work .

We moved to smaller abode a few weeks back, but I've managed to scrounge a dedicated workspace. It's small, and I've had to train myself to be a LOT more organized. Man that's hard work. Anyway, here it is with my Aces High 2 Campaign entry in the hot seat.

Is that a real spider?
We have them here also tarantulas Have not seen none around here in many yeas but down around Ada they are all over those farms.
Do find a stray Black widow sometimes cause I kill them straight away.
Beastly things.

Hi Jeff , no not a real live spider , my son got a remote control tarantula for his sixth birthday and was wanting me to change the batteries .
We dont have tarantulas in Oz , but we do have other evil bugs .
I'm liking the pictures of peoples benches as its good to see the chaos that everyone works in , makes me feel quite normal

Hi again
Here's my new den:

Still some sorting out to do, but it's great to have more space and a dedicated workroom/study again.
All the best

Feeling for you there Paul! My little man cave is one end of my shed strategically placed right next to my dedicated beer fridge. SWMBO doesn't really seem to understand why I want to spend so much time out there....

Theres some great looking workbenches here guys. What I want to know is how you've convinced your other halves to let you take over entire rooms. I always get kicked out onto the back patio by my parents whenever I want to paint something
.
@ Brian: please sympathise with the arachnaphobes like myself out there. I saw that spider of yours and nearly jumped out of my skin. I'm gona have the shakes for a few hours now

I always love seeing threads like this. Some pretty neat benches out there. I always wonder how it is possible that some of you guys manage to keep the stuff so organised... I clean my workplace regularly and organise everything to the point it looks like a surgeons table but 3 days in the built my bench usually looks like this
And for the rest
The cupboard with waitingtobefinisheds
The groundworks department

A displaycase with finished, waitingtobefinisheds, WW2 german memorabilia and metal detectorfinds and other WW2 memorabilia. Also visible... some shells from various calibers, helmets, ww2 Jerrycan, etc etc.
Little bit of stash. I have more but I can't access that easily with the camera
Boxes and boxes full of spareparts sorted on vehicle type
The Library
A closer look at some of my ww2 memorabilia
My german fieldtelephone with some of my other hobby collecting WW2 photographs.
