Hello,

Since I am deployed overseas with the Army, I had the wife take a picture of my hobby room. I have a small room connected to our garage that I use for my hobby room. A previous owner of the house had turned the garage into a recording studio and this room was the control booth. It has heat and A/C and has a door. When we were house hunting, this room sold my wife, she said, "This would be great for your hobbies, I won't have to look at your mess!" lol.

Here are a few pics. I was able to work a bit when I was home on leave in Dec, but the room is pretty much as I left it back in May 2010.

There are several more kits in my stash that you can't see on upper shelves. I had just started getting really involved in AFV modelling, I was pretty much an airplane guy so most kits are planes, 1/48. But I have been building up a stash of 1/35 AFV stuff.

Throwing mine out there for all to see...

The room is primarily a utility room first, then a laundry room, then a model railroad layout room, then the tools and workbench room. My backlog of railroad stuff is in the photo, but there is also a decent variety of kits acquired over the years-- cars, trucks, airplanes, helicopters, and one motorcycle-- to the left of the photo.
It's admittedly cluttered. Taking out some trash would make the space less confined. Seeing some nice spaces in this thread may inspire me to straighten up some-- maybe after another 3 or 4 campaigns!
Cheers,
Sean.

Plan on adding a hutch and another set of shelves. And yes, I really do keep it this neat.

This is Sam's (Camogirl) and my bench taken a while back.

Still living at my parents at the moment but we'll hopefully be getting our own house in the next month or so where we'll have at 12'x11' Modelling Cave (Sam doesn't like the use of the word 'Mancave') and a 12'x8' Office

Hey all, somewhat jealous of all your work spaces! Wish I had the tools and space ya'll have. This is the work side of the man cave (whole apartment ). Just beyond the shelves yields my Tv / x-box / entertainment area. Just installed my Sentry Safe around the corner so I can finally rest easy when I'm out of the house . This is a decidedly clean version of the area...

The books that are not still in boxes...

The work area...

This is what it usually looks like. I had to clean up.
