Oh by the way,

Ako yung naka bagsak ng malaking diorama noong 94 sa JMN. I am heartily sorry for anything damaged. It really was an accident...really!

Wow, B&D! Blast from the past! I think I dropped it on some fellow IPMS member's work. That was the most embarassing episode of my scale modelling life!

Now, even EG's model shop near Ateneo has closed down. Won't anyone open a new Tambayan style model store?

oh, has it really closed down na (EG)? My brother goes to High School in Admu, and he "says" last time he passed by bukas pa daw, oh well. What is/was B&D? Di ko alam yun ah, must be some really old shop...

OT. The store near Ateneo's Gate 3 IS closed. I was in the area yesterday. I intended to drool at the kits there. I ended up drooling at "models" instead

My turn. Sorry am late.

Name: Dennis Robert Ferriol

Address: Tandang Sora, Quezon City (pretty near Visayas Avenue)

Age: 34

Civil Status: Married, but my wife doesn't buy me kits (Albert's lucky, though). Like Albert, I also have 2 kids (Audrey - 10 & Patricia - 6). Unlike my wife, these 2 angels are very excited when it comes to my hobby. Both of them have chosen (as their own) their respective armour & aircraft models from my finished wares.

Profession: Asst. Sales Manager for an ISP company in Tektite Bldg., Ortigas.

Education: Angelicum School - elementary 'til 3rd yr. high school. I was an A-student (kabaliktaran) at that time (uso pa new wave & video games) kaya I was forced to take my last yr. at....nah, forget it. Hehehe. Got in at DLSU, Taft but again, my passion (kuno) for studying, led me to transfer to PSBA-Q.C. where I finished BSBA-Marketing.

Modelling Interests (accdg. to preference): (1) 1/35 Armour; (2) 1/72 Aircraft & (3) 1/350 Naval Vessel. Almost all my works are from the WWII era. Again, like Albert, I'm very much into WWII German Armour. Guess i'm fascinated with German engineering ingenuity.

Started modelling during 1st year high school (1st one was a 1/72 Avro Lancaster "Dam Buster" w/ bomb & loading crew). Didn't really stop when I reached 3rd yr. but kinda slowed down (maybe 1 kit every 2 yrs.) bec my GF was taking up most of my time. Fully concentrated again in Y2000.

That's about it. Thanks :-)

Like Jeepney, I also passed by yesterday afternoon at EG'S and was surprised to find out that it's already closed. Anyone know where they relocated?

If you did teach at UST, we might meet often..^_^

I guess that's right...Teaching will mean less modeling time....Unless of course, you teach modeling....

Newbie ako...

Name: you'll get to know it eventually (Hunter to my friends in modeling circles)
Address: QC, Philippines (at least until epfeejay becomes president)
Age: kailangan ba ito? 25 (21 years ago)
Occupation: consultant & struggling hard to run a modeling club
Model Preference: I'm married so bawal na ang live models (patingin-tingin na lang ng chinitas). WW2 aircraft (1:48 & 1:72) Luftwaffe & Allies; 1/24 Rallye & exotic cars; 1/24 European trucks; and whatever strikes my fancy.

I'd like to volunteer some new categories:

My Modeling Dream: to be able to build all the kits I bought. Hate to think what my wife & children will do with my unbuilt kits (or even the completed ones for that matter).
Skill Level: lousy at building, excellent at appreciating built models

I sense I'm nearing a flak zone...
