i just rediscovered the hobby... i'm building an F-14A, 1/144 scale... planning to collect that scale for now until have regained my "skill".
Grrr... no wonder ang bilis maubos ng mga 1/144 scale Shanghai Dragon aircrafts sa STC and Hobbytoi.... grrrr.....

You're in luck shonen, both stores still have your beloved Harrier. S'an ba yung bibilhan mo, yung sa STC or yung sa Hobbytoi? I also spotted A-10 Thunderbolts dun. Still waiting for their next batch of 1/144 Shanghai Dragons.... ganda pang-practice.

Thanks! Actually bili muna ako isa for practice bago yung mass production noon. Either of the two shops ako bibili.

Oki, I will when I get the chance. Where do you guys usually post the in-progress pics ba? I'm working on three 1/144 scales right now.
- Mini Hobby Model F16 XL
- Shanghai Dragon F16A Falcon
- Shanghai Dragon F15C Eagle

Pwede dito. May 3MB of space ka sa gallery so pwede kang mag-upload ng pictures dun.

I checked out the gallery and woah! Kumbaga "I'm not worthy" to show my work-in-progress, much less my first three would-be-finished works in the gallery. Ehehehe

kaya post mo na! :-) newbies in most areas like me could learn even more from whatever you would be posting....

I must agree with Jeep. Everyone here give me a good constructive criticism that I use to make better models. Go check my website, makikita mo doon yung ibang works ko di gano kaganda. Thanks to them, I have gained some experience.
www.150megs.com. It is the website me and Jeep use to post in our works beside the Armorama gallery.
Don't worry, they'll just help you in.

AV8Harrier,
Ikaw pala yun. We talked for a while yesterday. Remember me? Hope to see you next meet. Join ka na!
Cbrain & CSMeekai,
Dont ever be ashamed to post pics of your work. Remember that not everybody can build scale models. Some dont even have the patience to put together an unpainted model. What we do is a work of art. It takes patience and passion to build. So be proud. We're a breed apart.

CBrain & CS Meekai,
Buck's right!! Don't be embarrased to post your work. Everybody had to start in the beginning. Plus, posting in-progress pics can help you improve your skills because people are always giving constructive advice. It's what I love about this site. Feedback is always good and never bad.
We would love to see your builds,
Wanze

AV8Yup! Thats me, Allan. Just tell me or any member what you need. If we know how to do it, we'll most certainly teach you. Learning process naman ang modeling. We have to discover each other's techniques.
Sayang you and Tanker couldnt come last Sunday. Sabagay impromptu meeting lang last Sunday. Anyway, we have several new members who attended. Homer "Duff", Jose "Skinner", Brian Hansen (yes, an American), Amiel "Redknight" , Vino "Shrikes", and ....
CBrain & CSMeekai,

According to Mr. Hunter, Jose/Skinner is not officially signed up as a member. He's the only non-member who hasa callsign. #:-)

Harrier, I've tried their ship kits. It's more or less a knock-off of Dragon. I dunno about the a/c though. I had a helluva time working the kit. In this case, it did have a lot of fitting problems so that means extra work filing, sanding and filling.

I got me a Mini Hobby Model 1:144 F-16XL and all I can say is.... the quality is very far from Dragon's or Academy's. Parang hand-scribed yung panel lines... ewww.... some of the ordnances are badly molded... parang mis-aligned yung molds nila..... There are also some 1:72 aircrafts that I inspected (good thing hindi sealed yung boxes sa STC) and I noticed na the F/A-18s had raised panel lines while their F-16s had rather too deep and rather wide recessed panel lines. I'd rather stick to other brands despite the MHMs being cheaper.

Practice lang yan. For me I prefer tube glue. Nanunuyot nga lang paminsan-minsan. Post ka ng prog pics, they'll be glad to help you out.. And also, you cannot escape AMS! Hahahaha.
