The original and best, through all of their incarnations .... Black Sabbath.

i consider their first, Black Sabbath, among my top ten "desert island" LPs.

Well, geez, don't know how I missed this one, but yeah, I too have been a metal head since the late 60's early 70's and got to see a lot of live stuff all around the country and enjoyed most all of the bands listed with a few I don't recognize, but now that I have heard of them the Zune site will get a work out.

I'm a huge Metal fan, love Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, Zep, Purple etc, but especially Motorhead, Slayer, Exodus, and of the newer bands, Mastodon and Lamb of God. Stay Heavy! m/

My 2 cents worth : Deep Purple Mk.II, Saw them when they were out promoting Machine Head. ZZ Top was the opening band that night. Rainbow w/ Ronnie James Dio as vocalist. Motorhead - Lemmie, WOW!
Now I'm into a genre, "Psychobilly" Rev. Horton Heat, Nashville Pussy, Hank III. Fun stuff !
Happy weekend all !
