Ahhhhh....Yellowstone.......I was there snowmobiling last March. That has to be the most beautiful place Ive ever set foot in. Anyway, heres my three monsters.

Jinx and Milo are too cool. Theyre more like people then cats..........

And most recently, we got "Micro Tiger". Micro Tiger was a feral kitten whos mom abandoned him. We spend like two months trying to catch him last year before winter came because we knew he wouldnt survive. Finally, one day, out of the blue, my wife and I came home and as soon as we opened the door, he came running inside.

Thanks Robert, clicked and saved.
I'm actually surprised at all the guys with cats.
I though modelers hated cats.

Neither of my cats have broken any models or touch my work bench since both are well past the kitten stage.

First of all, very nice pictures of all the pets. Especially the snakes! When I was young there was a friend I knew that had 2. A Boa and a Python (not in the same cage) until the Boa got loose and terrorized his Mom. That was the end of him owning the snakes for they had to find a new home.

And Dave! We also have 2 cats as well. I just thought I would show off the dogs as I am more of a dog person, but our cats are 'purfect'. Especially the female who likes to hang out in my hobby room because she knows I won't let the dogs in to bother her. They DO NOT get on any furniture that they are not allowed to, so the modeling area is safe from them.

Here they are, the only photo I have of them is when Tony was a pup. At the top is the female and on the extension is the male.

Bonnie and Clyde.

I have a 10 year old German Shepherd named Lorcan (Gaelic for warrior or something... don't ask I didn't name). He is not much of a warrior as he runs from rodents and seems content with chasing butterflies. And our newest addition: a female Shepherd named Daly (after Dan Daly) who is currently a year old.

Our last three shepherds: 16 year old Augi was given to and served with Baltimore PD when we got posted in France (recently retired to happy family), 15 year old Max (poisoned in Bolivia by Korean neighbors because he didn't like them jumping the wall to steal things...), and 6 month old Loui (died from an intestinal parasite).

If any of you have shepherds you know that they are not just pets, they really are family. They are the only breed I know that really takes on human personality. It gets creepy sometimes. They are cheerful and happy when you're there or evil and vindictive when you leave them.

This is Rufus. Ryhmes with Goofus and Doofus. For the obvious reasons....
2 year old Labradoodle that would easily qualify for Special Ed. classes if human.
We love him dearly and wouldn't trade or give him away for all the gold in the world.

This is Sadie, a German Shepherd mix/mutt. She's 'the brains' of our canine world and the supreme huntress of rodents and birds. If it flys,it dies. She is closing in on 16 years old now and just gets more methodical in her hunting skill set. My best girl friend.
Cheers!

What are doing with those "baby" fish Ed?
I guess you get the joke on that Ed.
Gosh are these yours?
Throw a couple of chicks in with them.
I hate to do the water changing on that pond.

hi jeff, i like 'em..every afternoon i spend a few minutes feeding and admiring them..and thanks for admiring them. now a little fish story... my nephew who used to have a petshop sold it to me..i thought they were good luck fish..so i bought a couple of arawanas with the 'package deal' and they were included. they were just small fries then compared to the arawanas. few months they grown bigger and mysteriosly the good luck fish (arawanas) were gone??? 12 years now and they're still cruising the pond.
oh yes..that's a 4"x4" tiles..you can measure these guys from there. if i've build a larger pond..they could grow much bigger. i feed them fishfood and sometimes..small fishes..available in the market. nope...no cutie little animals were thrown in as a treat. my wife and 2 boys opposes it. thanks again

Uh, guess you can say the wife and I are "Cat-folks:"

The eldest at 16 years now, Pumukel (Pumy for short):

Next one is Wuschel (Wushy for short) at just over 20 pounds:

Then comes Runt (purrs like a freakin' motorboat motor!):

Followed by Prickles (she's got very light gray-tipped hair...like a Porcupine):

And then Secluse (our "Torty" that in her early years would litterally steal the food off your plate or out of your hand):

Then Smitten (she's the only purebred...all the others are "rescue" cats):

And last but not least, Coey (which is short for Coersion) who's my Avatar:

She's older now, but not much bigger...."Stray cat" and Angora......

Yep....CATS. And to think I grew up with Shepards!!!!

Mike

Hehehehe, we now have a dog!!

Her name is Synder and she's 50/50 Shepherd and Catahoula Leopard. Physically she's Shepherd (as far as her "structure" goes) and got her coloring from the Cata.

we have a Rottweiler named Addie. she's about 8 years old. also 3 cats, a solid black female who came from the shelter named Izzi, a solid white male who was abandoned and adopted us by walking in the house one day several years ago. he had been declawed on all his paws so his hunting skill was not too good. he was so malnourished his rear legs were starting to deform, a bit of which still remains. we named him Gilmour (for David Gilmour of Pink Floyd), and lastly a big two-tone black and white Tom we named Gunner. he showed up at our door late one night crying most pathetically. his face was almost chewed off and scabs were all over him. in addition he had been fed broken glass so he wasn't able to use the bathroom and couldn't eat. we took the poor guy in and nursed him back to health and our vet in exchange for medical fees used him as a teaching animal as he healed. turns out animals fed glass seldom survive because they either die from the injuries or it is recommended they be put down. ours pulled through and the vet would have us bring him in and would put a camera up his butt and film his intestinal tract as it healed. students would often come down for the examinations and the cat is going to be in a new textbook used by veterinary students. Gunner is a sweet cat and took all the poking and prodding very well. the vet even cautioned the students that they were unlikely to ever encounter such a good natured cat again in their careers. i was always a dog person, but i have really warmed to my cats and think the world of them. someday i'd like to buy a silver Egyptian Mau to add to the family.

Hi all.

This is my modelling buddy. Jake is a 22 year old Sulphur Crested cockatoo. I've had her (by the time we found she was a she it was too late to change her name) since she was tiny. She sits quietly watching me build and occassionally demands a scratch. She fully house trainned and spends her time riding on my shoulder or digging holes in the back yard.

Cheers
Shane
