45 - my birthday is next month, so I've decided to start going backwards from now on, making me 44 on april 22! If you've ever heard the "Father Guido Sarducci" monologue on "great idea for birthdays", you'll catch my drift....
Basically it goes like this:
By the time we are wise enough to enjoy youth, we are far too old... and then you die. So from now on, I think we should do it this way
- You are born very VERY OLD.... it isn't too good, but because you are basically out of it, you don't really remember anyway.... and then you start to get younger...
- Before you know it, you are 65, and they give you a gold watch - and you get a job....
- After a while, you now are 30, but you have made a lot of money in your 40's and 50's, so you can afford to have a wife now. IT's great! You start having sex, and the woman you wake up next to every morning looks better and better every day!
- You've been around now for about 60 years... you need to relax. Now your mother starts taking care of you... you even have some time to take in some school, to learn all about the things you already know.
- At the age of 10, life is nothing but running around playing ball, building models, and watching TV... you eat like a pig, and never gain weight....
- 10 years later, you become this giant orgasm, and then die.... what a way to go out!

I will be 38 on March 23. I will also be in LA that weekend so I guess I can pretend to be there for the Oscars.
I was born in 1965 and that day was the first launch of a Gemini mission where 2 men went into space for the first time together. I always thought that was a heck of a good omen for my birthday.

:-) Well what a coincidence Jim, My 50th (good grief) birthday is on the 24th March, but you know what they say. " your as old as the woman you feel", my wife is 6 years younger than me, so I'm not that old realy :-)
