Amen, Brother, I'm right there with you! (Ingleside,IL) and MAN, this blows chunks! And it's a totally slushy, heavy snow. I bent the shovel handle clean over without the scoop ever leaving the concrete on my first swipe.

That's okay, I'm still wearing shorts today!

Think Spring!

Global warming? Are you sure? Haven't seen any of it yet.... Sure it isn't global cooling with the excellent building weather that you guys are enjoying?

Ditto( I'm in Elmhusrt ). Naturally today is the day we did outdoor Use of Force training. The guy that picks our outdoor dates always seems to pick the worst weather.
And it seems like winter should be here after another losing Cubs season.

If Global Warming will turn Illinois into a tropical paradise........BRING IT ON!

The snow hardly covered the grass{which still needs mowing} here in Aurora. It is Illinois folks...wait five minutes{or five days} and it'll change!

Weather here bites as well... Same scenario, warm and all the snow melted, snow for the entire easter weekend. Wake up every morning to heavy frost...

So here is a question... They (weather people) say that in 50 years temps will raise 3 to 4 degrees. Now in the grand scheme of things thats pretty substantial. So, if the weatherperson can barely predict what the weather will be like in 7 days, how can they see 50 years into the future???

It's the same thing here in Jersey. In fact, there is a saying for that!

If you don't like the weather here in Jersey, wait 30 minutes, it'll change.

Just remember in a month or two it will be pushing 100 degrees, and everyone will be complaining again.

One thing I noticed this year more than others was the cyclonic tendencies of storms over the Midwest. The major storms this year over us seemed to swirl back around and just hover above, us rotating...and dumping snow and rain on us for 2-3 days all Winter. It got us a bunch of times like that.

Stupid H.A.A.R.P.!!!!

This weather is whacked out. It was 82 here in Southern New Jersey one day last week. Two days later it was 30 degrees. We didnt get any snow, but its POURING outside now. I dont know how anyone can deny global warming (or climate change if thats what you wanna call it). Its getting mroe and more evident here every year. The winters are weird, and bring hardly any snow, and the summers are sweltering. Last summer, we had a week of 100+ temperatures. It was so hot I opened my shop up at 5AM and closed at 2-3PM. And even at 5AM, it was 90-95 degrees.
